Headed to the Brandau reunion for lunch. Two Rhubarb pies baked last night as requested. Picked way too much, so I froze a gallon bag for later. The Dudek family also requested several pounds of Rhubarb for their baking.

Used candied peppers, hot, made Beefeater's gin come to life. I was going to have one as a nightcap, but poured several. Try one, you won't regret it.

I have 10lbs of pork shoulder in the freezer. I'm thinking your method is the way to go.

I love hearing from hypocrites what "you" need. "You" need a 3'x6' cage with bars, a quart of dirty water & 1500 calories of crushed bugs a day to live. Until the day a Party member needs a new liver, kidneys, or pancreas, then "you" no longer need to go on living, "you" have served your purpose. Think this can't happen? Ask the chinese Uyghurs. I think I'll keep my 2A rights, thank you very much.

Welcome Back Dawgy! Glad to see you're still kicking.

I wish people that know nothing about firearms (or rights, for that matter) would quit posting nonsense. Ignorance can be repaired, but stupid is DNA deep. Assault rifle is just a catch phrase used by knee jerkers. it gives them a feel good righteous label to tag something. Armalite was the name of the company that Stoner started.

Look at what they're pulling off while we're armed. Could you imagine what's going to happen if they manage to strip us of 2A? https://www.wowktv.com/news/local/charleston-police-shooting-victim-pulled-assault-rifle-on-party/ BTW, that never made MSNBC's radar screen. Wrong race of perp, felon with gun stopped in his tracks by a female. No innocents harmed.

Howdy Dawgy, good to hear from you!

https://tbmreunion.org/ Planes have been flying in all week, along with the support RVs. Looks like a party @ Peru Airfield today & this Saturday. We're about 100 yards off the airfield at LKCS, so we have a front row seat. Roof has been rumbling from the sound of Merlins & Wright Cyclones. Golf carts are lined up in the warehouse, and we're set to grill & knock back a few beverages after work. I'll take a pacar ride over to the airfield later, and take some pictures. The Yankee Lady made it in last night!

Sad part about this, nobody is held accountable. No court-martials, no resignations, and no mention of the mission capable DDG's that were scrapped early to free up crews for these abominations.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10812851/US-Navy-scraps-NINE-warships-three-years-old-3-2bn-fleets-tech-obsolete.html This is why I dropped my membership in the Navy League years ago. I thought these vessels were an answer to a question no one asked. Reminded me of the Royal Navy's Admiral Cunningham's comment during WWII, "Do they even know what a navy is for?" Great example of the abysmal failure of the military-industrial monopoly.

Howdy Doc, pleasure playing with you, welcome to the forums!

I'd rather read The Voyage of the Beagle by Charles Darwin. Five year grand adventure, with all the joys of discovery.

Headed to Olney in two weeks for lake fishing. Pulling Jeff's Tracker down, & Dale is bringing his new Lowe. I offered to bring my Crestliner, but we have enough seats for everybody. Here's my hanger queen in days past, but she's coming out for some Illinois River cruises this summer.

We rebuild our Halm, Heidelberg, and Konami presses in house. This part belongs to a Bell & Howell mail inserter. We put out a couple million pieces of mail each month, so there's always a machine torn down in the warehouse. The book calls these clutches, but they act more as a shock absorber in case of a jam. Nothing makes your day like a broken drill bit, or a snapped off tap. I had to drill & tap a cast iron flange the other day. Just cringed waiting to hit a pocket of sand, but lucked out again.
