Ahhh rrrrrrip. Nobody makes manuals for these things. Nobody knows how you're feeling except you. Been running across several guys that have lost their wives, and they all handle things differently. There isn't a set way to grieve or recover. Buried two brother-in-laws, my aunt, and my wife this year. I'll never be me ever again. Feels like a leaf spring is bent backwards inside, and I don't know if it can be safely released. Come play on the ace server, and try to enjoy something, if only for a little while.

Offered to take down a cinder block silo for a local farmer awhile back. I guessed maybe 40 rounds out of my K98 Mauser in the right spot would send it toppling. 195 shots, steel buttplate & tee-shirt, and my shoulder was pummled, hands shaking when it finally heeled over and collapsed. -

I have a white casting of an A2 upper receiver from ARMALITE that I use as a paper weight. Makes me feel all warm inside ( but not fuzzy). Not going to say what I have laying around that might be capable of discharging a 2700fps projectile. That's for me to worry about, not our friendly (or not so) BATF. The main purpose of the second amendment was to keep the crown wondering who was armed, and who wasn't. You attorneys can worry about the wording, the intent is clear.

Don't you think our all powerful g'ment, who should have our best interest in heart, should have a better handle on whom they employ? Picked a gallon of mulberries, gotta snap off a few pounds of rhubarb, requests were for jalapeno bean & cheese dip, guacamole, and rhubarb/mulberry cobbler for two pool parties. Supposed to grill out, but the temps here are going to be in the low seventies. Pool water is warmer than the outside air. Tonight, everyone wants to come over here for a patio/bar bonfire, so the yard needs to get mowed, patio swept off, and wood stockpiled for the fire. Oh yeah, time to break out a fresh flag for the pole. Happy 4th! Snap a pic or two later. -

Was eyeing the currency exchanges, and the pound looks like it isn't going into freefall. Was looking to buy a block of sterling if the rate hit $1.20, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. So much for the Sky is Falling panic. Really, what has changed in the world since the UK's vote? All the crying & loss is on paper. Reality will take hold soon enough, and the sun will rise in the morning.
