I would suggest that you revisit the relationship between Finland and Germany during WW II. Calling the Finns stupid for for their actions in WW II is ridiculous. Don't forget the National Guard. Those guys are pretty cool and more laid back than the reserves. Call some of your local guard units to get a feel for what they are looking for. They will be happy to talk to you. Don't trust what a normal recruiter you would find in the mall tells you. Call around to reserve and guard units and ask them directly. It's also a good way to build a relationship within the unit. Just remember when you call these units you will be remembered if you sound like a moron, so have some prepared questions and speak well padawan LOL. Good luck to you! Oh, and try to go in as an officer if you can. Tell them this is your goal, if in fact it actually is. Officer = more money and less crappy duties.
