Well basically the latest website update has fucked everything. So each update I apply to fix something breaks five other things. This has been going on for weeks now - slow progress!

Essentially there was an update to the website that had to be applied as it had security fixes but bundled a load of other changes... The update broke allot of things - one of them being the back end of the site so I could not actually get in and do stuff. Obviously I had to rollback. Then began the saga with the external support where I was told to break the site again so they could see. Then some bullshit about them needing FTP access.. which we don't use so that sucked. Ended up having to debug myself and give them additional information to be told they had removed a functionality and one of our addons was causing the issue. Since I have been trying to fix the storage for files on the site - I need to do that so I can redo the themes and upgrade them to hopefully fix the rest. Duc

Yep it's dying.. we have seen the trends for a while - it's not a negative just what's happening... Check the player drop off rates for the COD series over the last two months, we have only had 502 unique players in the past week. The Punkbuster stats I posted had the connectivity info in there compared to those that had gone through a reinstall for example. The auto update errors are those that have reinstalled the game after the master servers were shut down, that was over 1000 affected players over the two years on those two servers. The 8405 kicks for com issues are for those that had COMs issues between the server and the client. That's averaging 11 kicks a day. We do make informed decisions where possible. Duc

You used to be able to use Punkbuster to ensure that CVARs were within defined parameters and if not kick for it. However it is now an unsupported application and as users can no longer install it without manual steps and as the Punkbuster servers are now disabled it cannot be used. We have only ever had CVAR checks enabled at one point in time for a few months and it didn't do much. I will not be a part of putting the last nail in the coffin of COD4 and this community. Duc

This has come up time and time again and it will not provide any noticeable impact other than causing legitimate players to be unable to connect and play on our servers with no issues. These are the statistics that we used to make the decision to disable PunkBuster back in March 2017: Since we disabled PunkBuster a grand total of.. 6 bans have been added to the ban list. Simply it is an unsupported program that now causes more harm than good. Duc

Depends which node you end up on. Website has a couple of nodes and for some annoying reason it only works on one at a time (something to do with a local cache). There is a website update that I need to get applied so that may fix it. Duc

Oh and data wise it's all players on the COD 2/4/5 servers. Insurgency was working but there's a bug I need to fix to make it display as well

It's got to stay anonymous for public view at least so we don't get stalkers What I will be changing is differentiating between games and perhaps servers that the players were on. Duc

Hi All, For those that use the XI Downloader we will be discontinuing its use. There is no direct replacement however the maps will still be available for download from the downloads section of this site. The work in progress replacement is available on the new 'portal' (https://portal.xtremeidiots.com/) where the current map rotations will be retrieved from the servers and map files available to download directly from the redirect, see screenshots below.
