Lol Top right of this page, click on your name and a drop down menu appears. Select 'my profile' from it. Near top right of the page that loads there will be a button 'edit my profile'. Click it. Select the 'signature' tab from the left of the page. Put in your new signature and hit 'save changes'

There was a previous issue just before the move with the signatures where our old host modified some permissions, this in turn broke some signatures. Try adding it back in now the site has been moved. .

Looks to be working fine to me. If you are referring to the toolbar being greyed out when you try and change your signature? You just need to tick the 'enable HTML' box below the editor and then toggle the mode back to BBCode if that's what you prefer. .

The hardware bans are only performed when a hacker attempts to modify or interfere with the punk-buster processes. Yes it runs constantly and yes your right the 504K of memory its taking up couple cripple a older system *sarcasm* [Value taken from current usage on my PC] Have you ever tried going into your control panel => add/remove features.. easiest way to remove it.. and surprisingly not impossible. Also you cannot store files in the registry, the registry holds data but cannot store executable files - it is a data registry. .

A legit explanation for the increased bans could be that Evenbalance is executing bans against players that have been caught from silent logging. Silent logging is used in two situations, the first is when they do not want a banned player to know when they were detected and the second is when a new detection has been worked on and is now being changed to instant bans, at this point they would be banning anyone logged using the hack in the past month in one day. By no means saying that these bans are legit or not.. just saying it has been known to happen and with higher numbers in the past. .

Yep one issue at a time. Unfortunately the medals come after the website upgrade and after the awards system upgrade. The medals are still view-able via a persons profile and you can still award medals. .

We are awaiting feedback from Evenbalance via PBBans for confirmation that the bans are legitimate. The gist is.. if you play WITHOUT hacks then you have NOTHING to worry about. If you are banned and 100% you do not hack then they will unban you as it will be a glitch. .

Thank-you for your appeal. We are awaiting a response from PBBans/Evenbalance concerning this ban. Please be aware however that bans issued by both organisations are not in our control. .

I'm guessing that like @@Cavey says at one point Cobrabites had the >XI< tags in his name but when someone removed them they left a whitespace character at the end of the name. Fixed now. .

This is a known bug in the version of IP.Board we are running. IPS has released a fix but as of yet it has not been applied. We will be moving this website to a new server today and I will take the opportunity to apply this fix. .

They haven't stopped all embedding by any means but.. we use an older method of embedding that is no longer visible in their documentation. They are encouraging the use of HTML5 embedding and discouraging the older methods. However! I found several articles from last month where this had happened before and it was a mistake, so I will leave it for a short time before looking at upgrading.. cause tbh upgrades cause bugs and errors and its basically asking for me to break it. .

From what I can tell the error is occuring only on YouTube videos with the following errors: Chrome: Refused to display 'http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8KIjHQJDJY?version=3' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'SAMEORIGIN'. Firefox: Load denied by X-Frame-Options: does not permit cross-origin framing. I have found several recent articles pointing the finger at YouTube for creating this problem. If it does not resolve itself in a day then I will have to look at changing our embedding methods. .

There's too much that could be abused with such a function. If you think a post shouldn't be somewhere then you can use the report function and it will be flagged for a senior admin to review. .

Whats the url to the image? There is a permissions problem somewhere which is in progress of being fixed .

if you change the url from the ip address to the the domain it works fine. Hostgator fucked up the permissions the other day, it took a bit to reset everything :/ I didn't sleep :/ Are there any cureent images that cannot be seen? .

Sure but we had more options as SR admin. Like the embedded codes No1 can embed code.. except via parse blocks.. it would be a huge risk to the site. .

It's not possible as it stands to specify a time when embedding.. just tell people where to look. .

You need to use the tags. You cannot use iframes on this website. That would be a huge security failing. I set it up but right after realized that our TS server was back online. I would like to do some more research into how it handles the ports etc. .
