  3. Congrats !!! I quit 4 years ago (Cold Turkey) and I can say, I dont even get the urge to smoke. After the 1st month of quitting the "urge" was gone for me. But I was a less than a pack a day smoker. I quit because I had just had my 6th neck surgery and wasnt allowed to drive and my wife would not get me any !!!!! She was my "Cold Turkey" !!!!!!! Still Is !!!!!!!
  4. Up for grabs is a 2008 Gibson Explorer Robot. Everything functions properly and the guitar is in excellent shape. If not for being played a few times and one blemish, I would rate it like new. It was purchased by the original owner, played a few times and put away. They never learned to play. I purchased it as an investment and its now being offered for sale. Includes the build sheet, manual and warranty card. The case this thing comes in is huge and very plush. For those not familiar with the "Gibson Robot Series", they tune themselves. These had a "MSRP" of $3749 !!! It's yours for the price of $1499 + $50 shipping, lower 48 states only !!!! The pictures viewable by the individual links are quite large (you can zoom in) and show a few white dust specs but they are the actual guitar and show the only spot that keeps this from being "like new". The blemish is on the lower edge by the "Robot Tuner" knob. Looks like a factory "clear coat" blemish. Very hard to spot when actually looking at the guitar. This guitar has been checked and is still in the specs set at the factory and shown on the "build sheet". You don't see many of these Explorers come up for sale !!!! Here is more info from Gibson's site. Gibson’s futuristic Explorer was a guitar truly ahead of its time in 1958—a result of the forward-thinking genius of legendary Gibson President Ted McCarty. In the same manner, Gibson’s pioneering launch of the world’s first self-tuning guitar last year proved to be the single most significant and talked-about advancement in electric guitar technology in decades. Now, the best of two worlds collide with the introduction of the new Robot X-plorer from Gibson USA, which takes the classic styling and superior tone of a Gibson masterpiece and adds the technological brilliance of the Gibson Robot Tuning System to bring you one of the most practical and striking guitars ever in Gibson’s storied line of stringed instruments. Gibson’s revolutionary Robot X-plorer is unique in many ways, but the “robot-like” Robot Tuners™ that grace the headstock are extraordinary. Pull out the Robot X-plorer’s Multi-Control Knob (MCK) and watch the Robot Tuners™ spring into action. It takes only a few seconds for the Robot Tuners™ to tune the Robot X-plorer to any desired tuning. Each tuning peg is equipped with a tiny, but powerful, servo motor that kicks into action once the system is activated. The Robot Tuners™ rely on the strings themselves to send the signals, eliminating any potential for interference. Made of lightweight metal with a satin nickel finish, the Robot Tuners™ weigh only 46.5 grams each. A standard Gotoh tuner weighs in at 49 grams. That means a set of Robot Tuners™ weigh a full 15 grams less than a set of Gotoh tuners, which is another indicator of the Robot X-plorer’s true innovation. http://www.got-guitar.com/images/lfCA1UP4KT.jpg http://www.got-guitar.com/images/lf.jpg

  7. Damage If I had 525$ I would. But All I have is 2 bucks, and thats going into my mountain dew fund! REALLY nice guitar though man, wish I knew how to play even acoustic though (learning!) Keep plugin away at it
  8. This is rare piece. The H-1000 plays extremely well. With its extremely low string action and EMG active pickups, its a shredders dream. But its just as good playing country or any other style. The clean tones are fantastic. This is the more desireable H1000. Not many that year came in the "Black Archtop" with the EMG's and the Locking Sperzel Tuners. And it has a story. Rumor is ESP changed the headstock design of the models rather quickly due to the fact they resemble a "Smurf Hat". Some say it resembled something else, which we wont go there today. Because of the unique headstock design, these are some of the most sought after H-1000's. The guitar is in very good condition. It has been played lightly and has great mother of pearl inlay. The black finish does show some light swirl marks when viewed closely. But overall its a nice piece. MSR Price for this model new was $1149 Blue Book has its resell at $600-620. Im listing it at $475 + $50 shipping lower 48 states only. This guitar has been checked and set up to better than factory specs. This guitar plays extremely well. PM Me if interested.
  9. PimpedOutPete Good grief, the man is dead and that's the best place for him. As for a conspiracy? They had info on the dude since August but needed intel to confirm this. Just imagine if the seals slooped in and killed innocent people on foreign soil, that would have been a big shit storm to deal with. Simple DNA tests can be done within mins to confirm family resemblance (which they already had). They also used other methods such as facial recognition tests to confirm his identity. Ismalic law states that the body must be buried within 24 hours of death as well. Besides, the Navy knew full well no country would except the bastards remains so a sea burial was there only option. As for excepting credit? If Bush or Trump or any nitwit was in office they would have excepted credit as well so let's face it, Obama was and did. It's the intel & Military that did all the work and they are the ones that deserve all the credit. They hunted the bastard for almost 10 years... They got him.. Put the conspiracy BS to rest... And give praise to our men & women in uniform for a job well done. Well said Pete.

  12. Kid is pretty damn good. Someone please embed this video for me
  13. I was in that game and spectated Fluffy for a while. Several times thru wall shots were made. WoFat can confirm that, he was the victim. When not confronting an opponent head on, Fluffy would quickly move his sights to a far away window and low and behold someone would appear within a second and he killed them. That happened with 80% of his kills. Must have been an ESP Hack. Sure many times you can hear a noisey opponent and figure out which way he is coming from, but these were far away kills or when no noise was heard.
  14. Thanks Nutcutter !!! The chick working the stage is an added bonus !!!!

  19. I like the fast version !!!!!
  20. You need Reaper. While I use Tracktion 3, Reaper is free to try and is not crippleware. Meaning the free version is NOT limited. Reaper is a full featured DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that rivals the big guys, like Qubase and ProTools. And its priced two ways. For the home studio user its $60. For studio based users its alot higher (cant remember exactly, like $200). Alot of people use it and never pay for it. Like I said the version you download to try is the full featured version. Just has a splash screen saying "your using the trial version". But many, after using it jump at the option to pay these guys for their hard work. This program for $60, is better than programs costing $400 - $600 dollars !!!! Here is the link http://www.reaper.fm/ Now I use Mackie Tracktion 3 which is what I learned on. Its user interface is very user friendly. While I have used Reaper, for ease of use and increased productivity, I like Tracktion. But Mackie may be dropping it. Its one of those programs that didnt get much fanbase, because it came late to the show. I will continue to use it as long as Im making music. You can still find the retail version on many music gear site for under $50. Original price was $399. But since Reaper has such a huge fanbase and great forum I would suggest it. While the GUI is not as easy as Tracktions its the one I would use next.
