  1. Les Paul and Mary Ford, later tonight I will put on some Sabbath and play some COD. I listen to about anything, except, new country and rap. The country music has to be pre 1978. Stuff like Charlie Pride and Marty Robbins
  2. I tried to help Wero the other night by phone. Thought the map file in question was hidden in the "Compatibility Files" subgroup. He told me that he went to Area 51 and thats when shit started on his pc. Sad
  3. Hopefully he reads this page and gets it going.
  4. His "compatibility view" button wasnt there. I looked to see if it was a view option and didnt see it. Weird.
  5. Sorry I couldnt help you with your pc problem. Windows 7 on store pought pc's have certain features disabled and I still cant figure out how to enable "compatability files" view. Plus my state of mind didnt help much. I tend to ramble on and on Hope you get it going.
  6. That would make a great statement on a Tombstone. Hmm ... is there laws governing what can be engraved on a head stone ???? Google here I come !!!!!
  7. Mott the Hoople, Deep Purple, The Tubes, Nazareth, The Sweet, Sabbath, and Zep are on rotation today.
  8. Notice the playing cards under the turntable legs. They work great for leveling. Look like crap, but they do the job. The Stanton Turntable at the bottom I use for 78 rpm records. The others are a Technics (cant remember the model) and a Pioneer PL518.
  9. Here are the rest. And my record collection
  10. Here we go. Got a pic of the new R2R (reel to reel) and some old pics of my man cave. I did add an 8 track and another turntable and one of the pics shows all 3 turntable and the 8 track. I moved the one R2R onto one of the speakers. I need to build a proper intertainment center. And one pic shows some new vinyl that was giving to me. Im in the process of cleaning it. There was some good lp's in that bunch. I had to break the post up into two because of the number of pics.
  11. Just finished cleaning up the Otari deck. Will post pics soon
  12. I really dont sell anything. I guess I should at some point. As far a tubes, dont have any. I will get pictures up tomorrow when I get back from picking up the Otari reel to reel.
  13. I have 5 reel to reels. Going tomorrow to pick up another. I have alot of 70's gear (receivers, amps, 8 track, cassette, tt's). I pick it up at estate sales, garage sales, etc.. Sort of a hobby. I clean them up, get them working and put them away (except for my main system).
  14. Well I figured wrong, I bet its close to 75k for this set up.
  15. While there are more expensive turntables out there, this is my fantasy turntable. I have a nice vintage 70's setup, but this one is really nice. Not a $1 million Goldmund rig, but still well over 100k for the complete rig. Must be nice !!!
  16. Oh hell. It embeds it for you, sweet !!!!
  17. Well my video turned out like crap. But I found someone who posted a video that was there, thats not bad. Not sure how to embed a video, but here is the link.
  18. Just got back. As soon as I find my phone cable I will upload a video. Hope it turned out ok. Anyway, the venue had a great PA and the sound was great. The Offspring sounded great too. One of the few bands I have seen that sound live, like they do on record.
  19. This is true !!!!
  20. Well we have been without rain for a month !!! And of course tomorrow its gonna rain and my family is going to go see "The Offspring" (outside venue). Oh well, suppose to be 95 degrees, so I guess I shouldnt bitch Cant wait !! Im a big Offspring fan.
  21. Machine Head is a definate "must have" in any collection.
  22. Yea. I didnt learn a thing about treatments
  23. For all you home theater owners and musicians who are looking to improve the quality of your listening room. I came across this video Ethan Winer produces which explains how, bass traps, diffusers and acoustic panels can elevate your listening pleasure. Usually these videos are boring as hell, but this one is fantastic and keeps your eyes peeled to the screen. Ethan is well known in the recording world and I thanks him for taking the time to explain things. Oh yea, make sure your old enough to drink beer !! http://exposed.ethan...om/1280x720.htm
