I been using Ashampoo Burning Studio Free for a couple years now. It resembles Nero a lot, which is what I used to use all the time, works great, and it's free with email registration.

i did the uninstall and reinstall of Punkbuster like Psychokiller told me to do, then I also downloaded the very most current Realtek HD Audio drivers and installed them. Current as in I think they were from November 2011. I have not had this issue again as of yet. But like you said, it comes and goes as well, so only time will really tell. I just did all this last week.

there is a network throttling feature in windows vista and seven. i have opened mine up for better ping, you could go the other way to slow one down. This is one way to do it here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb809118.aspx hope this helps.

SSD is Solid State Drive. They are much faster drives than what most of us have running now. No heads that spin, it's basically a huge flash drive. Saves everything to a ROM type chip, so no waiting for it to spin up and slow down, and find the spot to read or write to. Also most are more shock resistant, so when you get pissy and kick the snot out of your pc tower, at least your SSD should survive, LOL. I plan on getting one for the operating system drive at least. -

in open office you need to go into the settings and change it's default file type from .ODT to .DOC and anything else that gives you the option to change it to Microsoft file type of sorts. If you need help, hollar and I can walk you through changing them. I use both programs, and they will communicate fine with each other as long as you save it to the right file type.

the file location for the old windows is C:\Windows.old the partiotn stuff you seek is Control Panel\Administrative Tools\Computer Management then storage, and then disk management hope this helps

I just noticed there is no longer a link for the radio station on the homepage. I have it bookmarked so it's no biggie, but just thought I'd post incase others didn't. -
mine did that a few times, and randomly shut down when I first got it, but after a few updates it quit screwing up. I never got around to reinstalling, it just fixed itself. Good luck.

I bought the Mother's Kit for headlight restoration to redo Mercy's car. It works great, to get them shiny again. I tried that Plast X, and couldn't tell a difference. I do not clear coat them, but I should I guess, cause it only lasts a couple months.
