Is it just simply the cut that does it, or does the microwave melt it away. May try the cut like that when I grill them next time and see if it works as well.

I did a cold boot on it at the time cause it wouldn't do anything else anyway. It seems to be okay now, I even play cod4 FT for a couple hours afterwards just to see if it would happen again. I did download and install nvidia system tools. You can change the fan speen on the graphics card, and I bumped it up a little, temp is now down to 82F. Which is really cool in my thinking, my 8600gt would run 135F or more all the time. Thnks for all the comment yall, maybe it was just a fluke and not a dieing card.

it's a common problem with tons of differetn fixes. Most commonly is what has been stated here is to plug in a headset, specifically the microphone is what works to fix it for Mery's computer, and I always have a mic plugged in on mine anyway. Good luck.

I downloaded and installed the nvidia system tools. Everything looks decent in there, I did increase the fan speed just a little more, it was at 30% and I raised it to about 50% just to see how that does. As far as the overclocking goes, it is a factory overclocked card. If it craps out I guess I'll just get it RMA'ed and possibly buy a bigger one anyway and save the RMA for a back up. I currently have the temp down to 84F. Not really sure it was the problem anyway, just my first thought. Maybe it was just a brainfart too. thanks for the responses.

Just had a wierd thing happen. My screen went into something similar to on old atari look. really sketchy pic, and the screen froze. I had noticed my graphics card tem was a little above normal for not being under a load, it was a little over 100F. Not really all that much, so I didnt worry. But then the screen thing happened and I couldn't do anything, and had to power off with switch, and I let it set about 20 seconds off, and then booted it back up, and it seems fine at the moment. Temp is at 90F steady on the graphics carad right now, which is really normal. I did notice that some reviews on this card said they had a lot of DOA's. Just wondering if mine maybe just lasted a little while and now it's gonna crap out. it's been in operation 2 weeks. This is in my new gaming pc, it's a GTX560 superclocked. Any thought would be nice, all other temps well within normal opertion range.

I'm gonna try a couple of those. As far as the birds go, i don't mind sharing my blackberries with them, but I do want more than one bowl for my self.

What about squirrels? I have more trouble with squirrels and blue jays than anything else. the deer have to cross to much asphalt to get here. I have one squirrel in particular that is watching my bell peppers grow. He is patiently waiting for them to get decent size. I am NOT joking, the little fellow comes and checks on it everyday, I have one plant that already has 2 peppers on it about golf ball size. And for the blue jays? Last year I barely got enough black berries to fill one small soup bowl. I thought about the fake owl's,but I have heard they tend to not work very long. Rabbits don't come near the garden because of my dog being on a chain and so close to it, but the squirrels will hang in the tree or sit on the fence and taunt her, throw walnuts at her even. Mean little rodents.

this is gonna suck, i started getting a head cold yesterday morning, by bedtime last night, I couldn't keep up with it. This morning, it's full force.

I skipped page 2 so Im not sure how we turned on Google, I just shoot him any chance I get, LOL. but as for any of the "I hate this..." crap. There's a lot of times I get killed by some random nade, or out of place clay, or some crap. I personally am a run and gunner, most of the time, I have however slowed some since I started playing freeze tag. But either way, everything is a part of the game, and as some one else already stated, I hate trying to hit a bunny hopper, but for sake of staying alive to be the one who gets the shot, then I do it to. I have a blast playing on most any of the XI servers, especially when everyone is BSing in voice chat, I hate to play on a non talking team. but anyway, hate to see anyone "RAGE QUIT" the clan over something like this, The game would be boring as Hell if we didn't have the huge diversity in playing styles anyway.

maybe try downloading and reinstalling DirectX whatever version you need. Without more specific details, it's jsut a guess.

Normally we play Friday and Saturday nights, starting anytime after 8pm central time usually, some nights we don't get around till late though, it may be 10pm sometimes. Sunday nights on occasion, time varries on Sundays. check the team speak poker channel, someone will usually be in there waiting on others to show up.

Sorry, was still working on a puter for somebody. Got it finished, but 3 more now, and another coming sometime next week. Also, I just get tired of waiting to start playing till so late. Maybe we'll all catch up next week.

Windows 7 x64 is a great running system. been on it about 3 years now. Wouldn't go back to anything else.
