  1. its just basic stuff. here is a copy and paste of the assignment Write an assembly language program that solves the following problem. The Albatross Company has four salespeople (1 to 4) who sell five different products (1 to 5). Once a day, each salesperson reports their sales of each product. These reports are consolidated over time into a file. Each record in the file contains three values: • The salesperson number from 1 to 4 (3 characters wide, right justified) • The product number from 1 to 5 (3 characters wide, right justified) • The dollar value of that product sold that day by that salesperson (9 characters wide, right justified) Your program must prompt the user for a file name, process the file, and report the totals for each salesperson and for each product. A sample data file called “Albatross.dat†is provided to allow you to test your program. Your program must be able to handle a data file that contains any number of sales records. This means that it is possible for the input data file to contain multiple records for each salesperson and product combination. Do not write your program so that it always (and only) expects the number of records that happen to be in the sample data file. Your program will be tested and graded by executing it with a data file that contains fewer records than the sample data file, the sample data file, and finally with a data file that contains more records than the sample data file.
  2. LOL i did a permanent repair to a radiator when i was younger.... permanent cuz the only way to remove it was to grind it off.... I took epoxy tooling resin and poured it over the crack.... resin has decent expansion and great adhesion. plus it transfers heat quite well...
  3. if you feel like giving it a shot an helping me my yahoo id is in my profile
  4. Lol assembly language is a requirement for my degree. It is far to confusing for me.... i cant wrap my head around that much info being pushed around... im not good at remember to put in notes lol

  7. im in the process of building a stand and bezel for 3 monitors.... i want seemless
  8. nvidia will only benchmark better than amd... amd is more efficient with opencl than nvidia... much more effiecient... a 7750 hashes at 600 khashes/s while the top nvidia only does around 300. quality with amd varies greatly
  9. im not an intel fan but they do have good stats. avoid nvidia graphics cards. amd vid cards are much better in processing power. an intel cpu + amd gpu would be some of the best you can get. if you need evidence that amd is better than nvidia at processing then just look at the hash rate of a amd card vs a nvidia card.... I would avoid a corsair ssd they are very hit or miss. instead i would go with a samsung ssd. cheaper and much much more reliable. the case is good. i like that one. another option is one of the new raidmax cases or even a haf case. might want to up the psu a little im not sure a 750W could handle that running at 100%. i wouldnt go with anything lower than 900.
  10. what type of ssd do you have? if you installed windows 7 with the default settings it automatically partitions the drive. are you only ssd or do you have a hdd for storage as well? if you have a hdd as well try disconnecting it then upgrading. also try updating the ssd firmware. most ssd have sn application you can use for that... I know samsung does
  11. display port has a much higher resolution rate that dvi. it also has a better response rate than dvi.

  13. @LaRSin i used an old computer i had laying around as a server... i have time warner home... used no-ip to set up a domain and used their program to update the ip address of my domain each time my ip address changes cuz i dont have a static ip. i use ubuntu desktop and did sudo apt-get to get all the server packages. i currently am designing in html but plan to change it to Ruby on rails later.
  14. well the reason i run 3 machines.... mac mini is actually very low on consumption.... but i run the ubuntu because i want a cloud system to replace skydrive and all the other cloud systems.... its free to me other than the electric cost which is quite low tech im gonna see if i can create my own cloud system instead of using the owncloud system using RoR.... might come out looking a little like old school twitter but eh.... if i can do that then im putting the 4 2u racks i have sitting in my garage to use and making my own cloud business
  15. LOL tech im integrating ruby on rails on my server Your turn
  16. i didnt change the apache configuration.... i put owncloud inside of apache...
  17. ok after about 10 hours of playing with the ubuntu desktop i finally got the cloud server up and running. i got the server packages first. then i installed the no-ip updater (easiest part). then i installed the owncloud and configured it inside of apache(took forever to figure this out....) now i just need to wipe off all the dust from my html knowledge and actually make a decent landing page lol. if you wanna see it go to fireurza.no-ip.biz of course you cannot have my cloud info
  18. so this is a little bit of an advanced question. i have a windows computer that i use as my main computer. i also have a mac mini that i connect to through synergy (alternate to a kvm switch). i also have another pc that ive installed roughly 3tb of storage. i was thinking of installing ubuntu desktop on it and creating a cloud with it. i never really turn off my computers. now my question do i have to install ubuntu server to use the ubuntu openstack to set up a private cloud system on the 3rd computer. i was wanting to use the 3rd computer for the ubuntu os and as far as i know ubuntu server doesnt have a gui. please help.

    help

So here is the deal. I am needing an os for a pc that I have so I can give it to my brother. He needa a computer for school and cant really afford one. Does anyone have a windows xp or 7 retail key that can be reused on a different computer? I cant afford to buy a key right now (paying my wifes ob/gyn bill so we dont have to worry about who is delivering our 3rd baby). Please let me know.
  22. So I get to this new contract job and the first they have me learning is composites.... ive never done composites before and they are paying me 30 an hour so if they wanna pay me to learn im fine with that. Now they have me learning to use a bridgeport eztrak 2 abd autocad... luckily I know about computers so I fixed their problem with not knowing the format of dxf to use... oh and I bought them a 3.5 floppy... now they want me to learn to actually use the machine... if this keeps up they are going to have to raise my hourly rate. Anyone know how to use a bridgeport?
  23. shoot if you lived alot closer i would have a system that all it would need is a hard drive. I'd give it to you but the shipping on it from here would be ungodly. Its not the top of the line but its a quad core intel processor(cant remember which), 4 gb ddr3 ram, and on board vid card. ill see if i can dig up the specs if you wanna know more about it. but as i said the shipping would be insane.
  24. Its gonna take some time I gotta buy a vac pump and make some molds. The outside of the case should take too long. Im gonna make the initial parts with peel ply on the outside til I decide if im gonna go for the carbon fiber glossed look which is a pain to do or if im gonna prime and paint... the peel ply make it easier when I bag the pieces and I can another layer on thatvside without having to sand it. Going to be a bit harder on the inside for the motherboard tray.... Im thinking ill probably buy a cheap case, disassemble it and make molds that way.
