Why do you need a win98 system to access a floppy? Windows is backwards compatible you can get a usb floppy drive and set up compatibility mode. Also there is no such thing as being formated to IBM unless is formatted to as/400 or one of IBM other server only formats. If it doesn't work on a floppy drive on another computer then the floppy is bad. No if, ands, or buts about it. Floppy disks if you remember had a real bad habit of losing the access point when transfering them from one pc to another. I used one a few months back so that I could load programs onto a CNC machine. I was constantly having to format the thing because it would lose the access point. Your only option after losing an access point is a full recovery on a floppy.

Again if you read one of the articles I linked. There is a thing called the placebo effect. Water will never truly mix with oil. Oil is hydrophobic meaning that it repels water. It may look like it mixes but once you let it sit for a while it will separate. This is common chemistry. Took that class last semester.

This is the biggest piece of shit I have ever heard. Water has a natural balance of 7. Blood has a pH of 7.2. Cancer is nothing foreign it is a communication error between cells. Everyone has cancer but the body naturally gets rid of it most of the time. A normal cell will burst at a 2.5 pH and shrivel at a alkaline level. Drinking water by adding stuff to it to make it more alkaline will not decrease you chance for cancer. It will poison you. These are lessons learned from Biology 101

I dont lose my temper with her. I do the fetch with her as i said above and after a few time if she doesnt retrieve i do other types of training like teaching her whistle commands

What did you do to train you lab? I have a golden that is giving me trouble in training. She wont fetch a fallen bird/ball unless she sees me throw it. she will watch it fall if someone she doesnt see throws it but wont fetch

Grumpy, I will be in Boulder which is just a few miles away from Denver on Nov. 2 through Nov 8. If you have trouble explaining it to them I could swing by and help them understand a bit more. Basically if they are just going to use it for Skype they could get a iPad with Verizon service and not need any other internet connection. Depending on how often and long they skype. I doubt they will ever go over the 10 GB data limit on it.

I have no professional experience with computers, networking, or servers.... I got a job in May that pays more than 15 an hour.... pays roughly 23 an hour.... working for IBM. Its not the greedy business owners its the people accepting the jobs at such a low rate because they are desperate. Refuse to take a low pay and companies will raise their pay rate. McDonalds will not pay 15 an hour if they can get someone to do the job for 7.25 an hour. It has nothing to do with greed and everything to do with economics. Cost < Profit.... If a business is not profitable then it will fail. Those companies that were mentioned earlier are not doing well. In fact their stocks took a beating this year. Also the government wants unions but businesses do not. Unions are never working for the employees only their own pockets. They refused a deal that would have allowed their members to keep working because they were greedy. Case and point.... Hostess. Minimum wage does not need to go up what needs to happen is the spending needs to come under control. The national debt causes the value of the dollar to go down. The value of the dollar goes down and things start to cost more because so much is imported. Double the minimum wage and the dollar will fall dramatically causing the cost of goods to skyrocket. Then we will be right back in the same boat we are in. Liberals need to shut up and learn economics. Think with your head and not your heart and we might be able to get out of this damned depression.
