hey , maybe some of you remember my last topic about modding a ATI Radeon 6950 to a 6970 ? just FYI they are still running fine at crossfire with really awesome performance in combination with my 4 Ghz processor... the only thing I didnt like was the temp behaviour and the noise level of these cards... this will work for all of these graphic cards : ATI Radeon 6970,6950,6870,5870, 5830, 4890, 4870, 4850, 4830, 3870, 3850 nVIDIA GeForce GTS 250, 9800GTX+, 9800GTX nVIDIA GeForce GTX 285, 280, 275, 260+, 260 nVIDIA GeForce GTX 465, 470 nVIDIA GeForce GTX 580, 570, 480 nVIDIA GeForce GTX 460, 560 Ti important: you will loose warranty if you are going to do this this is not a cheap solution but it is really worth it.... just be sure your case is big enough because this is a really big cooler LOL the cooler: Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME Plus at newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186043&cm_re=xtreme_plus-_-35-186-043-_-Product you also need some RAM heatsinks to cool some parts of the card there are 5 different to order for the different cards the stock coolers made a lot of noise under heavy load and the first card had almost 50°C/ second card 45°C on idle and almost 75°C/70°C at heavy load while gaming or benchmarking though I have a really well vented case with 11 fans....if you have less fans temps might increase a lot more some tests I read reported temps of 85°C+ after installing the new XTREME plus my temps are now at 36°C/29°C on idle and 50°C/45°C while gaming and benchmarking both cards running fine at 950Mhz/1450Mhz maxed out without any issues if you think about changing your gpu cooler have a look at this beauty here are some pics of the install the cooler: exploded cards: you have to install the heatsinks there installed have a nice day ))

X-RayXI Yes absolutely buddy. Actually, you can see people are not even willing to download it or else only the tools they get with it. Overall it gave us an good idea of how it can look like in actual release. There will be always plenty people who are downloading it, but I only hope for the good cause. all they have to do is to release the demo and the torrents of the leaked version will be forgotten soon

some very good points XRay... but I think this bitching and moaning already started since the xbox demo was released... these people just want to bad mouth about the new game and they started with this before I see that they are scared people will not buy the game this much because of the comments that were made but I think they are wrong... this people who are bitching now would have never bought the game and the others with a little brain left like us WILL buy it LOL what I have read so far this was a really early version with just dx9 working and medium details...not worth downloading we all know this game will be awesome and just a few more weeks to wait...

Cygon Ok now this video has got me a bit excited. R1pper off of incrysis posted this and it got my spirits back up about crysis...if you can do this much on a console then I think pc will be fine. The ending is very cool where he uses the decoy, cloaks, then stomps for a double kill. It is definitely different from wars but I think I will enjoy it. hellya LOL found this video a little ealier on youtube and at a german pc magazine... looks nice to me...and its different for sure
