  1. Get rid of Dial Up. Actually I get that every so often and just reconnect usually takes care of it. I never use X-fire to connect.
  2. Previously I was always able to paste a link into Firefox using the keyboard command CTRL V . Now it does not appear to be working. Any ideas why?
  3. Very useful link Pegleg.......see my PM to you.
  4. Now I am not sure if cancer will get me before my heart gives out
  5. Seeing the Harlem Globe Trotters with my father and brother is a cherished memory. I am looking to take my grandsons to a show in Wildwood NJ in August. They are entertainment! http://www.harlemglobetrotters.com/schedule/full/
  6. Sonovabich Can't be working then Mikey because it is deffo /+activate Althought I too use the / I was once told either one, / or \ will work. Now all will he will need is the White Dot so there is no need to aim your gun for the defrost. Just get the white dot on them for the thaw.
  7. SgtHarryWeezer Want to cut and paste content into an XI post? Can't do it with Firefox 4.0. Get back to IE: Harry, if you use the keyboard command, CTRL V, you can paste on XI with any Firefox. I think CTRL C is the keyboard copy command but don't hold me to that, I rarely use that one. For example the below link is a copy and paste of my new handgun: http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Category4_750001_750051_757954_-1_757781_757781_image I find it helps to hit the return after pasting and the link goes red showing it worked.
  8. DEEJAYKEG Hope you have a better experience with your model than I have had with the 24". I certainly hope so.
  9. TheWhite Dot will be the first "hack" the monitor will see. Got my trusty White Out pen ready to go!
  10. Just bought a 27" Samsung ?SyncMaster P2770FH. 27" 1920 X 1080 1MS Response Time 70000:1 Dynamic Contrast..................whatever that is?????? $279.00 + Tax at COSTCO. Won't have it up and going until next weekend. Too much to do today and on the road for business during the week. Does not have all the bells and whistles of some other monitors in this class but then again, I do not need them. Hopefully I will have a better monitor to see you with!
  11. I have a concern because altering Firefox in order to access my banks website is compromising a security aspect built into Firefox. Personally I think it should be the other way around, the bank should adjust to work with Firefox. Either way I do not like issues like this where I have to alter a program to make it work. Especially relative to security. I have sent an inquiry to my bank and will see if they respond.
  12. The recent update to 4.0 blocked me from my internet bill paying. I had to make a change to Firefox 4.0 using the about:config feature. Seems there are a few tweaks in about:config, I was wondering if anyone else has had to use that feature or have knowledge of it's workings? I had to change a setting to "True" to access my banks website. Anyone using Firefox 4.0 can type about:config in the menu bar and select the I will be careful option to see what I am talking about. Just don't alter anything without some research. http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config
  13. Got me!
  14. I really enjoyed this video and have e-mailed the link to several friends, 4 of whom have even expressed their gratitude. Usually links are just read and trashed with no acknowledgement. While not a motor head my self a few in my group of friends were heavy into drag racing. Many a Sat. spent at ATCO http://www.atcoraceway.com/ or a strip in Hatfield, PA now closed. As for the cars themselves my first was a blue 57 Chevy Bel Air which I bought while I was at Fort Sill, OK in 1962, when I got home from the Army in 64 I bought my parents 58 Chevy Impala. My first new car was a 65 GTO. How I have often wished to still have any one of the three.
  15. Olive, how about some pics of the camera setup you use? Must be some awesome equipment.
  16. Saying I am impressed would be an understatement................. these are National Geographic quality.
  17. I keep checking for the Wife pic.
  18. Bushape Shamu, go back in your cave and let people have fun, we have heard enough shit talking, we all are well aware of your thoughts on BO. I would of pm'd you that last remark, but wait, I can't, you are not a member. Bush, I have no problem with a public response but as someone said earlier PM works for any forum member. If I publicly offer an opinion it is in essence an offer for a public response, that's what forum dialouge is about. And what I have said should not impact on your fun or anyone else, it's simply a sarcastic opinion of the game. If my comments upset your fun you are taking it way too seriously. It was not either rude or personal, it was simply a negative opinion of Blk Ops. Enjoy yourself, buy the new maps and have fun. But you will have to come to COD WAW if you want to shoot me For those who have not read it my original post is on page 1.
  19. RIPZILLA >XI< I posted this headset/mic set because it seems like quite a few players don’t own headsets and a microphone. I think they’re really vital for good game play. That is the key point. A stereo headset is a significant advantage in game play. As in many things in life, listening is often the key to success. So do your home work but get a stereo headset that meets your budget. Or better yet talk your parents or wives into buying one for you. You do know that often a person buying a gift for someone will often spend more than you might spend on yourself. Another perk is if bought by a wife or girlfriend they can't complain about your game time............ you are only showing how appreciative you are for the gift.
  20. Well, I guess I am a sucker but I have 3 Logitech G 35's. Have had no issues with any of them Nice surround sound, good voice quality, comfortable, but pricey. http://www.crunchgear.com/2009/07/15/review-logitech-g35-71-surround-sound-headphones/
  21. In Katrina, yes we did make contributions to a animal welfare group. We also had the luxury of our next door neighbor's daughter researching the charity because she lives in New Orleans and is also a dog lover. I also, within myself, found little sympathy for the people of New Orleans. Much of what I read turned me against them. In Japan, if one could be found I would consider it. Just do not know if animal care has much of a priority in Japan. Ideally we will select a charity the focuses on children.
  22. The scope of their problems is beyond my comprehension. They are dealing with 3 catastrophic events at the same time, the earth quake, the tsunami and the nuclear crisis. Any one of which is problems enough alone. Regardless of anything in the past I truly wish them well. My wife and I will be making a charitable donation but we have not as yet selected the charity. Lots of scammers' out there who prey on the misfortune of others. We often usually prefer small direct action charities as opposed to something like the Red Cross.
  23. Wow! Things are not getting better with regard to the nuclear facilities. Is it time to start buying Potassium Iodide Tablets? Were I in Hawaii or California I just might be thinking about it before they are all gone.
