Hi everyone, I just spoke to Caracas and he asked me to send this update on his behalf. He wants to thank each and every one of you for your support. He had very kind words for loader. (Loader not sure what you have done, but you still suck as far as I’m concerned lol, jk). Caracas wants you to know that his English is not very good. He can barely understand the language and when he posts stuff he uses google translator, which is often inaccurate.
Caracas has completed the first part of his treatment successfully, but he requires 20+ radiation therapy sessions to be completely cancer free. The socialist/revolutionary/bs government that is running his country has put him on a waiting list till September. Cancer, in my opinion, is one of those things that you cannot, and should not put on a waiting list. Unreal.
Caracas is hoping to start treatment in a private clinic shortly. He is just waiting to hear back from friends that had offered to help.
The situation in Venezuela is extremely bad. Let me emphasize it: extremely bad. It is well known that all the so called “socialist/communist/leftist/Bolivarian”, South American regimes are destined to fail. The reason is simple. It is impossible to run “bubble countries” with isolationist and repressive policies if you are surrounded, or have borders with countries that are democratic and have implemented (usually imperfect) open market economy policies. The issue is not even political, its common sense against selfish stupidity. You cannot fix the price of bananas at $0.50 by decree if the market value is $1.50. Those bananas will go to the guy who pays the buck fifty, in other words: escape through the borders.
Nicolas Madueno has been fixing prices by decree for a long time and Venezuela has become the scarcity capital of the world. Caracas takes showers if water is available, mostly in the dark because there is no electricity. Caracas uses generic dish soap as body wash. Venezuelans use napkins instead of toilet paper because the toilet paper lines are too long. There is a line for everything: soap, shampoo, TP, fuel, sugar, bread, toothpaste, clothing, cooking oil, vinegar, rice, flour just to give a few examples.
Let’s hope for the time being that Caracas starts his radiation treatments as soon as possible. And let’s hope the Maduenos, Correas, Ortegas, and Evos regimes fall soon. It’s inevitable.
