I am using malwarebytes pro. I am getting a hit from this ip every 10 minutes or so, malware is blocking it. Ends up to be in china. hmmm

OK, over the weekend i got a serious virus. Messed my system up and my kidz. I installed some new software for protection. It keeps popping up with ip trying to connect to my pc. What is a good program to find out where a ip is located to see what it is that is trying to connect. Any ideas.

Sorry guys, I know tsw was on coms as I started having major issues. Ended up I got a super virus on my system and nothing was dealling with it. Macfee, malwarebytes, stinger. Nothing. My brother 6ftunder got it too. Narrowed down to something with internet exploer 9 or our isp. not sure which yet. We both had to nuke and pay the harddrives to get rid of this sob. What a nightmare.

I have seen 3 different win 7 pc get some nasty trogens in the last 48 hours, It tool malwarebytes a while to get rid of it. One of the computers (my girls) was really bad. They got theirs through you tube, another was my bosses and they got theirs through a gaming site. Kinda like poker site as he explained. It took going into safe mode and deleting the files and then leting malwar finish it, took 5 hours.

I ahve seen 3 different computers runing windows 7 get hit in the last 18 hr from some nasty trogens. My advice. Make sure you a adware prgram installed and run a scan. Malwarebytes is doing a pretty good job of fixing this. It is corrupting your registrys bad. Antivirus are not pickig this up. Also windows defender is picking it up so do a scan or make sure it is active if you can.

Have you check with hp. Put your pc serial number in and look for spec, it will tell you what network you have if on board a pci netwrok card and if you had wireless with it, then it will specify on what you had there. PM me your serial number and I will research it for you, i have a couple of hp's

I run 3 of these cards, 2 of them are sli and third is for psy x, yeah, they can run alittle warm but even just one will handle any game out there.

TSW, trust me, I know how you feel. There are certain things to look for in a hack. Aimbot is usually spotable and walling is a whole different story. Trust me, I watched films of some players the other day for about 2 hours and some that I was not in on to see if there is a difference. There are alot of factors you have to account for. Someone pops around a corner and hits you so quick you don't know what happned. You have to look at did he see you there sooner and just now got to you? Did you just shoot someone from there and so forth. There are no tools as of yet that show cheats and then it is a bad idea to have them. The only way to truely tell if someone is walling is to have the wall hack yourself to see what he is realing seeing. But then you have members know you use that tool and then when you have a good game wonder if you are using it for your advantage. All we can do is watch the video and do our best to judge that video. Now for me, I watch them and if I see something really to close to call, I have someone else to watch it to get their veiw. Trust me, peeps are gettting caught and banned from our servers for hacking. But you have to realize, there is always someone out there with a better system, better isp and is just flat out better. But we are trying. If you see something different. Let a admin know what you see and then let them look. Maybe they will agree or maybe they will something you are missing that they don't agree.

I have already lost all the programs. I am trying the torrents but and found a site that has the cd and ordered them. So I get all the right drivers as this system has alot of hardware from dock stations to tuner cards. Thanks

I already have a cd key and as long as it is the same os system that the board registers, wont have to enter the key. I am assuming that the 2004 and 2005 does not make a difference other then services packs. It should help.
