That's my favorite gun. It's an Ithaca Deer Slayer slug gun smooth bore. It always knocks them off their feet. It has loads of stopping power.

Let me put it this way. It’s going to be tough to match last year’s take. This one of mine a few years back.

I’m sorry if I sound cynical. But I believe that Manthis and Union’s entire story was nothing more than a money grubbing scam that didn’t come to fruition. It was just a matter time before she began asking for donations to cover her and her children’s living costs. I’m sure more than one of our generous softhearted members would have privately offered to help her. The timing was perfect with the holidays approaching. Fortunately for us their lies were discovered before their plans were fulfilled.

No Front Porch Fishing For Me
RIPZILLA replied to RIPZILLA 's topic in Hunting, Shooting, Fishing, Boating
The smaller fish are freshwater sunfish. The large one is a carp. -
My electric power came back on today at around 9am thanks to a utility crew from Florida. It sure is nice. We have heat and hot water once again and of course internet. My Smartphone helped keep us in touch but having my pc back is so cool. Still many around here were devastated by Sandy. I was very fortunate. The water did come up to my porch but it was too windy/dangerous to fish. I was just kidding about fishing during the storm. The first picture is what happened when the salt water from Long Island Sound flowed into a small lake near my home.

Lights out now. I'm using my smartphone. Street is flooding. Don't worry I have enough bait.

So far so good here. Still have lights. The wind is really kicking up.

I can't wait for high tide tonight. I'll be fishing for striped bass from my porch.
