    We both enjoyed getting out last Sunday. New York's Tautog (Blackfish) season opens 10/5. We hope to get on them soon. Its some of the best eating fish ever.

    Concidering it rained like hell at first, I didn't make out too bad. I used fresh clam bellies.

    Very nice buddy. There's almost nothing better than fishing. It's just great to be out there even if you don't catch one. I'm going out early tomorrow (Mothers Day) for striped bass for a few hours. Wish me luck.

    I've lived in NYC my entire life and I never seen a hurricane, a snow storm and a loser president re-elected in one week.

    If you zoom in on this plaque you can read the names of the firemen that were killed on 9/11.

    This pic was taken in Belle Harbor before the storm. Many of the fallen of 9/11 lived here. Hurricane Sandy decimated almost all of Belle Harbor.
