Well the easiest way would be to print screen it. Then print out the image file it creates. If using windows vista or 7, click on start, and type in the search window "snipping tool". Open that and capture the screen. Save it as a jpg, and then open the jpg in a normal picture editing software, and print as normal. The quality will be perfect. Otherwise if on older OS, then download Gadwin printscreen (http://www.gadwin.com/download/). We use that at work on our Citrix servers.

Couple more questions... Is her laptop wireless switched off when she is wired? If not make sure it is. Also, when does this happen? Is there a pattern? For example does it only happen when she is gaming, or doing certain things? I very much doubt it will be a graphics card issue.

Hans Read this if you are experiencing connection issues We are aware that some Battlefield 3 players are experiencing connection issues with PunkBuster enabled servers. This problem is limited to a small subset of players on PC and will not impact players on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. We are actively looking into the specifics of this issue and we are confident that we will have a permanent solution in place shortly. In the meantime, if your connectivity has been affected, we recommend that in the interim you join servers that are not running PunkBuster. Remember when Coolmd and Rockape couldn't connect? It was related to that, not if you are only just getting it.

BigGoliath1 PrimalFear Just sharing my opinion on the game options I would like to see in hardcore: I think it should be on, I also think 3D spotting should be on because the game sucks without it, and a HUD is the most strategic part of any FPS, I also think the health should be increased from 60 to 100 and the number of players should be changed from 32 to 64. Isn't that the Conquest 64 server without a kill cam? Primal has a good point that the players should be bumped to 64. I might play on it then. Not enough action with 32 on most maps. Get rid of the camping Rush maps and go to war! I know that those all the things I wouldn't want, and if you do then I will not play on the XI servers. As the other person said that would the 64 softcore server just without kill cam. What's the point!!! What I would like to see is a smaller softcore server with 32 max. I find the 64 man server too busy when full. With it being 32 man you would have time to breath. Maybe the 16 man server could be increased to a 32 man TDM or conquest. Though it is good fun as a SDM, only problem is it's max at 16 players

Actually when it happens next. Also do an ipconfig /all to get your ip and more importantly your gateway ip. Then do a traceroute by typing tracert followed by the gateway ip. That will show you how many hops it takes to get to the gateway from your machines, and any device IPS it passes through. That would help.

Sorry I meant to connect to you the other day when Bama asked but I was caught just before bedtime here in the UK. I'll see if I can later in the week. Though I'm interested on what is the dhcp server? Is it you router or is that a shop relay from the dsl which is instead the dhcp server. Are you running shop or fixed ip? If you can provide a little more on the network topology, I can better understand the setup. It might be worth setting your machines to use fixed IPs. Is the reason for the router (or is it really acting as a switch) to allow you to pass data to each machine? I only ask cause you mentioned you were in the same workgroup. If not change one of the machine's work groups to sometime different to see if that could be causing an issue. I'm wondering a couple of things... Could Bama's machine be somehow acting as a dhcp relay! Could there be some form of backup routine occurring between the two machine, copy files and folders across while you are gaming? Just spit balling some ideas. As I said I will try and help later in the week based on you being available when I am in the UK.

OddJob, we as a clan don't allow advertising. Though they say they aren't a clan, it's very close to the mark. I just don't want you to get into trouble, but do not be too surprised if this post gets removed by a Senior Admin. As I stated in a topic you posted earlier, we as a clan are revamping our website. As part of this, I will be introducing a proper ladder and tournaments system (though the core elements will be done first). This will be split into game types, and both open and clan only tourneys. Sometimes we even do prizes. This is part of the script I'm presently working on. So we can have a small entry fee for open tourneys, where it all goes towards the prizes fund (just spit balliing ideas, that would have to be agreed by Senior Admins). Myself and some others have some great ideas on the way. So hang tight, and enjoy the ride

Ruggerxi - XLR Stats are now up and running The new stats program is now up and running you will see the box where the Ultra Stats use to be. This is still very new and are just getting it up and running. You will see a couple new features, you can actually generate a signature using your stats on a certain server. When in game you can use these 3 commands in your chat to access a couple XLR features !xlrstats !xlrtopstats !register There will be more in the future but for now Lets give Sitting a huge round of applause for doing these new stats for us, he would love to answer any of your questions on these stats, so please post here and he will help you out. Are non members supposed to represent XI in clan tournaments? No offense, but it would seem only right that XI clan members represent the XI clan. Though reference the ladders and tournaments query, I'm presently working on something (though I did add something in the past, the coding was too poor for general release). It will either be built as part of the website, or as a subdomain. Got some other clan website stuff to finish first, then I will be getting back to this.
