Works ok on my iphone aswell. Though Phantom did use me (and abuse me!!!) to beta test his proof of concept forum for the iphone, and it was very good.

We had this very issue in the work place, and turned hibernation off. What was causing the choppyness was two things. Firstly the network cards were loosing their network connections, and had to do a DHCP request to obtain an IP address again, which took upto 2 minutes on the large corporate network we have. Secondly, many applications, (for example antivirus suites have built in scheduled tasks to check for updates every so many hours). Now because the machine has been to sleep and then woken up, those system use the system time as a check, realise it has been more than the alloted time since it should check, and subsequently fires off the scheduled task to check for an update. Naturally if you have a few background apps that do this, your internet bandwidth will be reduced to play your game, thus the coppyness you report. This may not be the case for you, but it was the definitive conclusion for our corporate network. Again just turn this feature off, and you will be fine.

We all know that people need to step away from the game for a moment, for one reason or another. All we ask, is that you hit the Escape key, choose change team, and then choose spectate. We will not kick a person in spectate, unless the server is full and an XI clan members requests to join. I hope this clears things up.

unionjackk - Who would be your t pick for last man in team freeze tag server Ok I'm a little bias on this topic as I play mainly on the freezetag server 1. Server 1 has it's regulars such as Meek, Sexyguy, T-Rat and Rescue. But If I had to choose who would probably be the best bet on getting your team out of an otherwise humilliating defeat by thawing as many as they could I would pick Rescue first followed by meek in a close second. anyone want to add to the list for best pick as last man standing feel free My top three picks are below 1) Recue 911 2)The Meek 3)Rugger Lol Rugger.... It's like hitting my head against a brick wall. As I stated in the server admin topic... People want to enjoy each others company while gaming, so like human nature they are still going to the popular server. It was even stated by other admins who suggested putting this no explosive server up, that it wouldn't work. It just doesn't make sense!!! What the players really want is the popular server not to be dominated by one accessory. When I mean dominated, I mean you stand very little chance against the tube, and it's the only mod where it is over powerful when comparing to traditional tubes. I don't believe people want to get rid of, but rather not make it the only weapon to choose in order to survive for more than 30 seconds. People may complain about clays, but they can use bomb squad to counter that. Myself and Chillie put up a couple of suggestions off the top of our heads, and other people may have better suggestions. The point is none of these have been tried (and they have been shot down), so we have no idea if they would decrease the whining, which is our main goal. Again... choose to ignore it if you wish, I promise I will not post about it again.

OK everyone... As many of you know, I had serious issues with my ears recently, and i got falsely diagnosed with a tumour in my ear. So all is good there (phew!). However the pain and problems were still there and the specialist couldn't give me a reason for it. Anyway I went on vacation last month for a week, which meant no gaming, or use of my gaming headset (Sennheiser P350). By the end of the week my ears were back to normal. As soon as used them again for about a week, I was getting the same symptoms again!!! The headset is great, particularily the build quality. However it must be a mismatch between the shape of my head!!! and the pressure points this headset exerts on the Eustachian Tubes running from my ears down the side of my neck. The headset is one where your ears are totally enclosed, and the faux leather sits around the ears, causing excess pressure over long periods of gaming use. In short, I don't want to say goodbye to a fantastic headset, but the pain is too great... Please, please, please post replies with the best gaming headsets on the market, that will not cause me these issues. P.S. Money is no object. Thanks from a desperate fellow gamer

NOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be very careful when using config modifications. I know plenty of players who have got PB Banned (by accident) for modifications, and the result has been to buy the game again. XI is not responsible for any modifications that anyone uses... Please use with caution!!!

Rick the mw2 ftag hasn't been working since 14th. Can we get together, as the stat provide very useful info for many reasons, and I would like to fix any issues with them, as soon as they appear.

Further to SOB's, Admins will kick the lowest scoring non member to allow a clan member into the server. Just hit up an admin if you ae a member and can't get in due to the server being full. Also remember there are the reserved slots for XI clan members as well. The passwords can be found in the clan members section of the website. REMEMBER!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PASSWORD OUT TO NON MEMBERS, IT WILL GET YOU INTO ALL SORTS OF TROUBLE (It's a perk for members only).
