As many know, I have been battling random crashes during games. I have tried many different solutions to try to fix it. Well bad news when I ran a Linux based virus checker.......killed a virus and my system. In the process of reformatting BUT my system won't recognize a keyboard. Tried two different ones, a Saitek and enhanced Microsoft. Neither works. Any ideas out there as to a fix? I'm currently looking for a basic PS2 style keyboard.

I think I remember us having an FTP site. Where is it and can I use it to transfer pix to my magazine? If not anyone have a recommendation?

It's very important to use a driver cleaner especially with NVidia. As Wiz said start with the most minimal setup then add a card and setup SLI. If your over clocking take GOOD notes. Start low and slowly work your way up. Then when you get artifacts again step down to the last known good setting. Then don't shoot me. LOL

I usually play Freeze tag on all three servers. My style is hunter/defroster. I will sneak all the way across a map to defrost someone just to sneak back to my side and start over. I get angry over toobers and HATE people who camp until they are the last without defrosting. I'll follow people Like T-rat, Meek, SOB, Boomer and other 'cause I know They'll be at my back when needed. Teamwork rules in freeze tag.

50 miles north of me in Tuska and Tishamingo got hit hard by a tornado. Destroyed Tuska school and much of the surounding areas. We got high winds and a bit of hail but nothing serious. 5 people still missing.

Understand that!!! I work as a customer service person for toyota. I get call the time about "LATE FEES". Why did I get a late fee? blahblah blah......... I have a 10 day grace period and got a late fee!!!. After getting yelled at for a minute or two, I calmly tell the person "Sir, your payment is due on the 3rd" reply......I Sent it out (by mail) on the 12th! That's before the 10 day grace period!!!.....me............ Yes, but we didn't receive it until the 15th......reply MY contract states AND I QUOTE (yelling a bit more) Payment must be received before the 13th...........Well you know how it goes. I got written up the other day because I said Toyota will not twist your arm and make you send out your payment on time. If you like late fees you'll continue to send it in late. If you don't you can adjust your schedule. Apparently thats considered non-professional behaviour even tho my boss was smiling.

I have always used 44kzh sound, so that wasn't my problem.

I think I have fixed my random crashing. I used to crash to black screen after playing. Sometimes could play an hour or so..............other times not. Never would get an error or anything. Could get back into games immediately sometimes but would crash again. Sometimes had to reboot. After warm reboot the last few sounds played would repeat a few times. Some times it would crash during intense firefights othertimes with 3-4 players and no intense graphic usage. SOLUTION: Deleted all maps out of my usermaps folder and redownloaded them. No problems on server 1, server 2, MW2, or on the other site I visit (Ftag and sniper only servers). Played about 3 hours straight today and no crashes. I had tried all the bios update, video drivers update, ad nauseum........ I even reformated my HD and reinstalled it all BUT saved my maps and drug them back to the usermaps folder causing the crashes again.

Finally bought A RAT 7. Like it alot better then the Logitech I had. The one thing I don't like is the pinkie rest (the big one) is very square as compared to the rest of the mouse. I love it in all other respects. Still cant plat worth a flip tho...........

A friend gave me his when he upgraded to WHOPPINGLY FAST 2mzh 128. Double his speed! Then when he went Amiga I inherited his 128. Amiga was a FULL 7MZH!!!! Boasted 4096 colors mouse support and the first window style support if I remember correctly. AMAZING machine. I ran out and bought a 10 meg HD on sale for $800!
