BlackOps Thread in Fixes

Maybe nice to have a post to help out if needed.

 

This is what I found and GL.

(I dont have the game)

 

FIX: Change settings - Multiplayer - Allow Downloading - OFF

Run steam on low process priority
Black Ops on high on high process priority
(alt tab then task manager, then right click each .exe)

And for FPS lag fix type. - "/demo_enabled 0" inside console
unlock fps: /max_fps 250 ( max fps rate 250 ) Else it locks at 91.

drawLagometer on 0  instead of 1

Added SP fix:

change in config.cfg

r_multiGpu op 0
r_vsysnc op 0
r_blur_allowed op 0
r_distortion "0"
r_dof_enable "0"
r_glow_allowed "0"
cl_maxpackets "100"

MP:

In C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops
"players", in there the file to edit with Notepad++ config_mp.cfg

- 1920x1080 (higest you can. But it might get the hgest if you run the game)
- high
- AA2x
- no shadows
- no bulletholes
- no glow on weapons
- no glow arrond players
- maxfps 100
- lagometer 0n
- fpsmeter 0n
