Yes I have googled it to death but need to see how real idiots think of it, then the shit they want you to read about on there sites. things I want to know is what kind you use and how much it cost, and if you notice a big difference between it and chlorine. Anything you can share with me would be helpful. Thanks Bullwink Awards

But it is supposed to be better for the pool as far as maintenance and upkeep. A friend of mine has one (in ground) with salt water and swears that he will never go back to chlorine again.

They both say maintenance is much better. I do know they sell salt water pumps and stuff for above ground . Awards

It's sold as c-pool in Canada.salt water is good, but is very corrosive to metal parts like the top rail,I wouldn't recommend it unless you have plastic or other synthetic rails. Awards

Chlorine is Cholrine.. a dangersou chemical.. its just in small doses that are "acceptable" The only bad thing about slat water systems is that you have to have the right pump.. Salt can carode so you need a pump desgined for salt water.. and make sure you have no metal joints or unions in your pipe as they will corrode as well. Awards

The jury is still out on copper sulfate,I've read both pros and cons for it,although a couple people I know use it,and like it. You still use chlorine, just about 75% less. Awards
