at 7 minutes  and 10 sec or so.. that catfish.. wow. I am watching this entire freaking video to let you know.

Did I tell anyone I swam in the Potomac River..... Washington D.C. One day my fuck brother threw my pet turtle 1/4 across the river... i went in after it. Got my turtle back. The under toes .. how to spell... was real bad. I did not care.

I was there when the plane crashed in the river.... D.C that is. You probably dont remember that or never heard about it. My next door neighbor drove Walter Mondale's limo during the carter admin. :) My best friend Deon's dad.

lol fish to my turtle in dc to Carter to my best friend... humm

Helllll yeah.  I fish a lot, I'll go with ya.

I live about 5 miles from where the (once) world record blue catfish was caught (it was 130 lbs, record since broken) on Ft. Loudoun lake.  I caught a 52-pound blue cat out of Loudon in 2002 myself, I'll try to find that picture & scan/ post it.   But 70-80 pound blue cats are regularly caught out of Loudoun, literally at my back doorstep.

I also caught a 20-lb flathead on a crankbait & 10lb test, 2 years ago while bass fishing.  (lol, I thought I had a world record largemouth at first).

Your post makes me want to put away the bass rods & get the heavy equipment back out.  I might just get me some fresh 50lb braided line and go do that again.  It's be fun to see my 45 pound 6 yr old son reeling in a fish heavier than him.  (He can reel some, but I think I'LL hold the rod)

Damn.... a 65 lb Flattie is a hell of a fish, about the same as a 100 lb Blue - they fight a lot harder, especially in river current.  Bet that was an "arm-stretcher", huh?

After that last post, I called a buddy o' mine I used to catfish a lot with, and we're gonna go in a couple weeks.  Gotta get my heavy gear back out & oil it up & re-string the rods.

I'd love to fish with ya man.... I'd really enjoy that.  If there is an XI get-together in the southeast, we oughta try it.  To heck with running around playing paintball.... let's crack a few cold ones & sit back and relax with a fishin' rod.  Maybe we could get Pete to come down & be the "bait-bitch" (bait our hooks for us), lol.
