Its ok i guess. If you go the completely free rout you find yourself severely outgunned in most matches. Tanks are fairly accurate to the period. Some of the tanks are actually ones that were never created just paper spec tanks that the dev team created. Some were tank prototypes and other 1 ofs. Give it a try...for free its hard not to. If you don't like tanks they are making a free game called world of warplanes and world of battleships. I played this without paying for a While & had Access to all the maps. There are like 12 maps. And Yes, In the begining, you are always outgunned. Have now started to get back in to it, myself, ChiefBSr, Scooby , Comfort and a few others play it,and trying to get some sort of platoon meetings up I guess. When you start at level 1 you play against levels 1-3. When you reach level 3 you go to levels 2-5, some weaker, most stronger. I think he said at level 5 you play against +2 to - 2 levels. So your about medium strength. You earn point for kills and not being killed which allows you t obuy weapons armour blah blah.......OR you can go do the "Wallet Warrior" route and send money for credit to buy the upgrades and talk in game. He plays the free way and enjoys it alot. When you start, buddy up with a level 3 with you in a small fast tank. You go forward and look for other tanks, shoot it and back up to let your buddy kill it. You get a percentage of the kill without endangering yourself. He says most people agree to this tactic and helpp out a noob. I've been thinking about it but don't have the bandwidth to d/l it.
