I like the Hurst shifter. Did you do the work on the engine or did it come like that with the Edelbrock valve covers and is that an original Edelbrock manifold also was this all stock on the T37 Tempest. CobraBites Posted May 11, 2012 Member ID: 2313 Group: Fallen Members Followers: 0 Topic Count: 330 Topics Per Day: 0.07 Content Count: 4924 Content Per Day: 1.02 Reputation: 3034 Achievement Points: 33897 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 4 Joined: 03/19/11 Status: Offline Last Seen: August 2, 2017 Birthday: 05/26/1974 Author Share Posted May 11, 2012 (edited) i done half the work on the motor the eldebrock stuff was already there so im rollin with it lol..think it was stock manifold... so far ive done is new plugs new wires new distribitor cap and rotor new air filter..dipstick mount was me cause it was missing...new belts...new alternator and battery...next is main seal leakn and carb needs rebuilt goin to start that on monday after teh car show...carb is a 750 4brl holley..it has 4:11 posi 10 bolt rearend with traction bars..motor is pontiac 350 wide block..with a small cam in it...trany: is 400 turbo with 3 speed hurst shifter...so its beastly as far as power goes not sure of the actual horsepower yet but im lookn in to it...high compression rate in motor as well very strong..not sure wat compression rate is yet either..and pretty much everything works on it but the wiper washer fluid as well all light system funcioning properly wipers too..oh they took air compressor off other than that its mostly all origanal...except front seats and back seats are from late 70s lemans still original floor pan carpets door stops doors windows never been replaced..all window cranks work properly as well..
