About a week ago I begin experiencing when I use Google Chrome opening 3 pages, a main page a search page and , an AOL page. I don't use AOL nor do I want to. I have looked in the programs and there isn't anything there connected to this problem. I don't know how three pages open in the first place. Thought maybe some one here may be able to help!

Click the icon at top right that looks like three bars. Select Settings, then the second item, "On startup." Uncheck "Open the New Tab page" and check, "Open a specific page or set of pages," and then the "Set pages" link to set your startup page. See if that stops the other two pages from opening. If not, you may have a trojan (other than the one you keep under your pillow.)
