I had a basal cell carcinoma. What began as a relatively "minor" surgery ended up taking up an entire day and going into the operating room the next morning at 6am for a skin graft from my shoulder. I had a friend who had pancreatic cancer and passed away last month. He refused to get treatment and died from a heart attack that was due to him immune system shutting down.
