fireurza Posted June 18, 2010 Member ID: 677 Group: ***- Inactive Clan Members Followers: 18 Topic Count: 172 Topics Per Day: 0.03 Content Count: 1457 Content Per Day: 0.26 Reputation: 791 Achievement Points: 9890 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 5 Joined: 11/02/09 Status: Offline Last Seen: January 16, 2024 Birthday: 02/20/1986 Posted June 18, 2010 ok my car was towed about a month ago. the place that towed it said they put a sticker on it at request of the apartment complex because it was inoperable and that the inspection and registration was expired. the registration and inspection expired a couple of days prior to them towing it. they towed it apparently 10 days after putting a sticker on it. we never saw a sticker on it or any sign that there was a sticker on our car. the tow company is saying they have picture proof that there was a sticker on it and we have requested it every week since its been towed from the apartment manager that we receive a copy of the picture as advised by a cop we spoke to. both are refusing to show a picture and my wife and i do not know what to do about this. what are my options Awards

Check out your local ordinances......I am not a lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once. Awards

That might be in your best interest. However, if the car was inoperable, as far as i know, the apartment manager has the right to remove it at their discretion, regardless of sticker. The chances are you may have to bite the bullet in the end and just pay the impound lot to get your car back, and then pay the tow company to move it either to a safer place to park it or a garage. I would hat to see that happen, but alot of times renters at apartment complexes gotta eat shit in the end. God knows i have enough in the past...and i still dont have a taste for eat, regardless how much i've had to eat. Good luck. Awards
