The latest entry in the Call of Duty series has a ton of hype surrounding it, with it being a reimagining of the trilogy that kickstarted the franchise's popularity in the gaming space. Infinity Ward has been noticeably quiet about the game's campaign, only revealing small details about the contents of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare behind closed doors. The game's core multiplayer offerings have seen some major changes from top to bottom. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be the first game in the series to include cross-play support between PS4, Xbox One, and PC, as well as the omission of conventional season pass DLC. Infinity Ward is meticulously building the game's multiplayer with the community at the forefront of each design decision. With a variety of new modes and no DLC to lock players away from one another, the hope is that this will be a Call of Duty title that players will be coming back to for a long time. Brimmy 1 Awards
