If you right click on the desktop, goto display settings, and then advanced settings you should be able to crank it to 165 there.

@Sharpe too. Thanks guys. Fixed the 165Hz in windows like you suggested. I get this Performance Warning off and on. Seems random.

That's good, though, cuz now my shit play still has an excuse . . .

It's funny you say this.  I was stoked when I went from a 200mb connection to a 1GIG connection.  I thought my ping would go down and my game play would get better.

Well my ping didn't change, and now I just suck a lot quicker.

Do you have a 144hz+ monitor?

I tried to turn on the low input lag on my monitor and first time loading the game it froze up on opening screen. I had to exit through task manager and turned it back off and the game loaded correctly. Any ideas on what happened there?

Click on manuals. Looks like you've also got an fps mode you might want to try, or perhaps manually adjusting contrast/brightness. It also has "overdrive", but I read some things about it that put me off.

While it will depend on various factors, going from 60 to 144+ should give an improvement. One factor will be your current monitors input lag. I gained around 20-25ms, but my old monitor was particularly bad. If memory serves and "all things being equal", you get around 8ms taken off going from 60hz to 144hz (correct me if I'm wrong), but some monitors are worse than others. Personally, I'd never go back to a 60 having played on a 144 now for a number of years.  To me, as the majority of the gaming population moves towards 144+, it's essentially a time handicap, which is the last thing you want in an fps game.

Good info.  I guess I am really just in it for fun.  I don't care if I win or what map we are playing.  It's rare to see me on top of the leader board....ever!  LOL

Top of the leaderboard is just defrosting, no need for a fast reaction time there ;)

What's the model number? G2712? If so, here is the manual: https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/monitor/G2412_G2422_G2422P_G2712_G2722v1.1_English.pdf

And drivers: https://www.msi.com/Monitor/G2712/support#driver

Done and done. It was ON by default. I tried the FPS mode but didn't like it that much. Overall, still well worth the ducats.

Thanks again!

4k tvs make awesome monitors, in my humble opinion... every year, many stores like Walmart, will greatly reduce the prices on the older models as the new ones come in... great time to get an awesome deal on a large screen so you can see things better... and these TV will run usually run whatever your video card throws at them with ease...

Do you know what the refresh rate is on that typically?

I'd be curious what the input lag would be like on some of these too.
