I Will contact the guys I bought it from next week, hopefully get it replaced. Its just weird how an image can be burnt in after only a few minutes and on a fairly new monitor. Something must be properly wrong with it. Definitely one of the strangest computer issues I have ever had. I suppose I should be grateful its an innocuous image thats stuck on the screen.

It's a bit of a story, but if anyone has any ideas on how to fix, or if it can be fixed it would be appreciated. So I was playing a slots game on facebook, set it on auto and went outside for a smoke. got a win while I was out and it puts up a big overlay that says how much the win is. I have my smoke, Im afk for maybe 5 mins or so, not very long. come back and continue playing, notice the screen is kinda flickery while im playing so I close the window and notice that the overlay picture is still in the background, but kinda faint like maybe 20% opacity Now it appears to be burnt in. WTF? I have tried, turning off and leaving off for a while. Removing ssd and dropping in a different OS to make sure it wasnt a windows thing, Removing ram and swapping, and restoring windows to an earlier restore point. So im pretty sure its a monitor issue, unless the gpu could have somehow caused it. This is a less than 6 month old 27" AOC 1440p monitor, I couldnt find anything on the interwebs that was helpful at all. Anyone have any ideas?, cause I dont have a clue whats going on.

Couple of suggestions Pengy, Could you make the spawn protection maybe double what it currently is give people a chance to get into a good spot? Can you enable smoke grenades? they are good if you want to move spots and give a bit of cover while you run. Can you enable dead silence or just make it a permanent thing? The enemy cant hear me running, only I can and its annoying. I hope this server gets a few people on it sometimes, its really fun to play and a complete change of pace to ft

I use express, I checked every server in Australia and the Sydney 2 server works the best for me. from 26 hops down to 18 and from 260ish ping down to 230ish. Im thinking I may have to keep it on permanently as it appears to improve speeds on Youtube and possibly all websites.

Damn, that makes so much difference for me, using my vpn knocked 8 hops and 30+ms off, and gameplay feels much more stable. I'd never considered that using a vpn would do anything but slow it down even more. Nice call Sharpe.
