  1. Pigdog when I lost my lil girl Princess I honestly thought my life had ended, but 3 years later and a lot of therapy I am still among the living. To me they are not like family , They ARE family! I feel deeply for you Bro. Just recently I have been able to talk about her without crying. I now smile at all the great memories I have of her and while sometimes I cry mostly I smile at the happy times I had with her! The loss never goes away but the pain does recede with time! Let the sorrow have it's time and you need to grieve and then you can move on in your way and time! Praying for you Bro.
  2. @@BigPapaDean ok yesterday I could use it, today I cannot! the dklfhsdfsdfsfsffiuer09w3rwefdsxifs! Here is what I noticed! Sometime yesterday my adobe flash player tried to update and after that (today) I could no longer use the shout box again! It wouldn't update it said ummmmmmmmmmmmm crap I can't remember now something wasn't found.... I should have screen shot it but I didn't! Its flash player anyway that's causing the problem! Dump that damn thing and use something else lol....... Some browsers like chrome has a standalone flash player as well as the Windows flash player. Sometimes they will clash and be incompatible as was the case with me. I had to disable one and try it and that didn't work then I did the other and updated the one I just re enabled and it worked! I don't know if this is your problem but it very well may be!
  3. THIS IS TRUE!!!! The History of the Middle Finger Well, now......here's something I never knew before, and now that I know it, I feel compelled to send it on to my more intelligent friends in the hope that they, too, will feel edified. Isn't history more fun when you know something about it? Before the Battle of Agincourt in 1415, the French, anticipating victory over the English, proposed to cut off the middle finger of all captured English soldiers. Without the middle finger it would be impossible to draw the renowned English longbow and therefore they would be incapable of fighting in the future. This famous English longbow was made of the native English Yew tree, and the act of drawing the longbow was known as "plucking the yew" (or "pluck yew"). Much to the bewilderment of the French, the English won a major upset and began mocking the French by waving their middle fingers at the defeated French, saying, See, we can still pluck yew! Since 'pluck yew' is rather difficult to say, the difficult consonant cluster at the beginning has gradually changed to a labiodentals fricative F', and thus the words often used in conjunction with the one-finger-salute! It is also because of the pheasant feathers on the arrows used with the longbow that the symbolic gesture is known as "giving the bird." IT IS STILL AN APPROPRIATE SALUTE TO THE FRENCH TODAY! And yew thought yew knew every plucking thing. )

  5. Yeah that was funny right there!
  6. Two years ago my life was changed forever! Even tho that change was not really there until a few months ago I always knew she was there and that someday she would get to know me and love me as her "Papa". I love the times she wakes in these great moods and when she walks by my door she smiles really big and says, "Hi! Papa! My heart leaps from the joy knowing she loves me. Those little conversations she takes time to have with me even tho I don't understand most of them. Two days ago she came...

  9. I recently was signed up for Medicare automatically because I qualified for disability. About a month ago I received a packet explaining the process and the different options available. I chose to go with the meds coverage option. Now the question I have is this: My coverage for Medicare does not start till October and I desperately need to see a Dr NOW! I can't afford it as I am supporting 2 other people as well. My Dr's office has a program for reduced fees but I do not want a bill hanging over my head for years to come. Will Medicare step up when it does begin and pay these bills accrued now? I need to know so I can get to my Dr> Please be frank and honest and open about this!
  10. Viraldisk, I may be an sob in the server but I do have a big heart and I have been down the road to a degree you are now traveling. It sounds like you retired and I hope it wasn't for some kind of health reasons but instead your choice. I have been forced to go on disability because of some severe damage to parts of my extremities. I am now waiting for medicare to kick in but that won't be until October. I really do need to see a Dr now but it must wait. I just wanted to tell you a belated happy birthday you OLD man!
  11. theres a Seattle of Oregon? wow, idiot lol That's Canadian for Seattle or Oregon!
  12. Well this really shakes my confidence in the police when I travel now. I sincerely hope this is limited to Texas and not the rest but I rather doubt it! They seem to think that probable cause was the male officer thought he smelled marijuana and thus the proceedings. I hope they bust him so far down he has to walk out in shame. The system won't do anything to him as he was the instigator of this whole ordeal!
  13. I am amazed by the professionalism to your work Olive even just for a clan of idiots! Those pix made me really want to be there next year but only time will tell the story! Am glad you all had fun! Looks very successful to me!
  14. Wow! This is only looking back and I realize that now it won't bring the boys back but IF the owner had done another round just to make sure everything was secure and safe. Like I said it's an afterthought. Just an afterthought!
  15. Well rumor has it Al Gore was!
  16. I actually was terrified to play online. Then my son bought me COD4 and reluctantly after a while I decided to try this magic they called online gaming in servers you actually was able to control and mod as you seen fit. The first player who I remember that called me by the old Bigmeandean" was 2cuteSue. Incidentally he also gave me my first taste of blood by slicing their testies off of them. Today I fell very protective of that server and basically ever since it's been my server! Lol! I have been told by several that I was known as Mr Acemod! Well be it true or not it still was an honor to be felt that way about. If this game had never made it big like it did I would never have gotten the game and I would never have played online!
  17. Damage at least your wife talked to you and let you know how she felt. Mine just clammed up and wouldn't tell me much of anything except it was none of my damned business. Today I could careless and she flipped and went to be a muncher and now she isn't in the greater 48 and that's a good thing. Through all my challenges I never turned to alcohol as an escape even with as bad as I hurt at times. I guess I just also convinced myself I am stronger than I thought. Damage life is not fair it just happens! What you do with that is up to you and what I do with it is up to me. Yes I am an old fucker too with emotional challenges but for the most part these days I am doing pretty good! Hold your head up and smile and the world will smile with you. Hope it turns out okay!
  18. The further we get away from XP/ME/Windows 98 as an OS the more we seem to have problems with the older games. I would like someone who understands this kind of thing to explain why so we as idiots are not just sitting here yelling at the screen thinking we have some real problems with our machines. Please cause I have as many or more iw3 and iw4 quitting messages that I an beginning they themselves must be a virus! Lol! Please someone explain!
  19. Now I wish like hell I could be there. Maybe one of these days. As much as I want to be there there are many more important things that take president! Have fun and come back and share all those fun times with us in pix and stories!
  20. you're too old!
  21. It's very good to see you back Rusty as some of us were worried what happened to you. I went down the same road that you did maybe just a different reason but I was about to do something really stupid when I realized my kids were more important to me than that. I had to go thro therapy and I was on meds but financial concerns got me off that but I still do relatively well considering. There are more of us around and we know how hard the road can get at times. It id good to see you back!
  22. When someone we know is in trouble we feel lost and do not know how to help them. It's so easy to sit and judge and say if it were I this is what I would do. I have learned through the school of hard knocks that is not the right way or proper way to think. If we just take a moment and consider the situation and ask ourselves this one question, "If this were me how would I want to be helped?" After answering this all important question ans asking for guidance if it indeed is meant to step in...
