Someday the windshield someday the bug!

Have you ever been playing in a game and been shot by the same player at the same spot and yet had no clue where they shot you from? I have and this happened on Waw DM server this morning. I immediately went to spectate to see what was up. I find this guy roaming outside the normal map tho it was, according to our accepted rules of engagement, okay for him to be there. When I saw what he was upto I turned on xfire and began videotaping him. At first he was just messing around and climbing and standing on tall high places I could in no way climb up on. Okay so thats no big deal as lots of people can do that tho I can't. Then he proceeded to get out of the normal playing field and climbing up on tall buildings and killing players inside the normal map. To be sure the only reason he could get to where he was at was because of the ace mod in the DM server. I noticed for all his hard time consuming work to get there he probably only had about 5 actual kills. I have a list of players who play this way every time they come into a map. Rarely have I ever seen anyone of them win, so begs the question: WHY DO THEY DO THIS? I am serious why do they do this? Is this their gaming style or what other possible reason do they play in such a manner as to risk getting kicked or banned say some admin that may consider these locations on the maps out of the map or glitching? It really doesn't matter what you call it they always seem to push the envelop when they play. Do any of you remember a player who use to play on our servers named bENT? Well he was just that kind of player. I never ever saw a map we played together that he wasn't way up high on top of things the normal player could never get to. Yet somehow undetected he would end up there. I just don't understand why you would go into a busy fun server only to try and ruin it for others with this mindset. First of all is it fair to everyone else you can get there when they can't? Or is it what the map maker really intended when he made the map? I believe in most cases the answer for both questions are NO! So again the question. WHY?

Well Sirpokesalot if you follow that link it takes you to where when it's working properly that you actually can flash. I called Logitech support and they helped me but it didn't take care of the problem at all! I am going to call them again and see if they won't send me the g77 instead as replacement! I just have to see what happens! Thanks for the interest but that download did not fix the problem. I make have a damned wire broken again at the front where the wire comes out and if thats the case the only fix is a new mouse!

Lately am beginning to experience where in game I cannot turn to come at another player in a knife fight. I read where Logitech has new update but to do this you must flash the bios. I can't get the program that Logitech uses to see my mouse which is btw a G500. I haven't had this even a year and it is very slow to react to my commands to it. When it runs good I really like it but this way is for the birds as it's useless. I think what is funny tho when I come into a map and tell them about my prob they get real bold until I sneak in and cut their ass. Thats another story tho. I need help with how to do this process manually! If that is possible! If not I will be in the market for another mouse and I been hearing good things about the RAT brand. I see one with 3500 dpi but not sure that's high enough for the speed I get to at times. I do have a monetary consideration to keep in mind too. Anyway give me your opinion and I have a windows 7 pro 64 so I want it to be fast but not fancy along with not too expensive with a history of service and durability! Hit me with your suggestions and reviews!

A week or so ago I started a thread about paying it forward and I was really impressed at some of your responses on it. Well I have something I am definitely going to have to pay it forward on. I have been in a dire need of a dependable headset to even go into ts and shoot the bull. I was looking for a particular one and to me it made no difference if it was new or used within reason. I was sitting here at my desk where on most days I can be found. My son walked in and handed me a package that had just been delivered. I looked and it said that someone named Logan had sent to me. When I opened it my jaw fell open as it was exactly the headset I wanted. I had been trying to order one from ebay for half price but PayPal will not link my debit card to the Paypal account. I looked through our members section and found only 1 Logan in there but he says it were not him. The ebay account tells me the guy I ordered it from says he is waiting to ship the headset when I pay for it! I wonder if he sent it before payment was verified. I sure hope not. Anyway if anyone knows who the mystery person is please relay to them my gratefulness! I now need to stay vigilant for someone else who needs assistance in some way or other! It made my day!

For several months ago I posted about my sound will stop working in game. I was directed to disable the HD that comes with Nvidia and so I did. Well the problem is still occuring and I have a question about it all. How about if I disabled the Realtek and use the Nvidia instead? If so how do I go about using the Nvidia sound?
