  1. Thanks Boss! I just reset the server. Shout out if anybody has a problem.
  2. Of course he'll say that he came in late, or was on the phone, or was watching porn on another computer, bla bla bla.
  3. That's on the TDM server. I just tried it and it worked fine. You're downloader is probably bombing out before it finishes downloading. No doubt that it's a iwd file conflict but I don't know which one to tell you to delete. Perhaps loader or rugger can chime in.
  4. One can only hope.
  5. Manny, PLEASE keep us informed on how UnionJack is doing. There are a lot of people here that will keep him in their thoughts & prayers.
  6. It should never be done again but it probably will. There are too many rogue nations with these things now that have an axe to grind with us or one of their neighbors. Eventually one of them will shoot one off and the rest of the world probably won't do jack shit about it for fear of escalating the conflict into WW 3.
  7. Wow you must be a proud parent. I'll bet that was a pain for your wife to push out
  8. The bank will probably close your old credit cards and issue new ones with new numbers. Make sure anything you have on auto-pay gets updated. Unless you store your credit card information on your computer in a file where it can be easily found, chances are it wasn't a virus that copied your card numbers. You probably bought something online and the data was hacked from them. I've had one credit card compromised in all the years I've used them, and it was a card I only used for eBay, but they would never admit it. If you do want anti virus software I would suggest Norton, but others may have their favorites.
  9. Have a great one viral!
  10. Phelps is lucky. He's the greatest swimmer ever, has won more medals than anyone, and he's now tapping model Megan Rossee.
  11. LOL, it sounds like our former clan mate buried a trojan in the download. I wouldn't put it past him.
  12. Happy birthday Tex!
  13. TBB if you're still playing Area 51, I can guarantee that you'll download shit from there that won't work on TDM or DM. Area 51 is no longer an XI supported server even though those managing it still want players to believe it is.
  14. Go back and read what I wrote. I never said it was the job of the government to feed out kids, I said it's the job of government to make sure our economy is healthy so people don't go hungry. Big difference. Most people who go hungry can't afford to feed themselves because they can't find a job.
  15. NASA funding has been slashed since the 1960's when they practically had a blank check to do whatever they wanted. The fact that they can still pull off these amazing scientific feats with very limited resources just proves that American ingenuity can do damn near anything regardless of how little they have to work with. And yes, 2.5 billion to put a one ton rover on Mars seems reasonable when you considered the average cost of each shuttle flight was 1.5 billion and there were a lot of them. Making sure our economy is in a healthy state so people don't go hungry is the job of government. They've had unlimited funds for the last 100+ years, and not only have they squandered it all, they're now borrowing money to squander in amounts too high to ever pay back. If the government had much less to spend and was held accountable for every dime, our country would run much more smoothly. Our government is like some spoiled brat billionaire that has spent all of his company's money, and is now embezzling from the company investors to maintain his lifestyle. We need term limits on members of both houses, much more accurate accounting and no lifetime pensions/medical for retired house members. Then you would see people who were interested in true public service running for office instead of people only interested in gaining wealth and power.
  16. I download from the game when I join a server and have never used the downloader, so I'm not familiar with this error. Any errors I've had in the past involved compatibility files on IE. I have resolved them all since then.
  17. The technology you are reading these words on right now was originally developed by NASA in the 1960's. Before they began shrinking computer components to fit into a small space capsule a computer would fill a large room. If you read the link that you provided it says very clearly that the images were taken by a hazard avoidance camera on the bottom of the rover. Over the next couple days they'll bring out the hi-res cameras and the pictures should be outstanding. The 2.5 billion NASA spent on this project is chump change compared to what Obama has flushed down the toilet over the last 3 years, and I doubt he fed a single child in all that time.
  18. For those of you using windows IE I think I have a fix. I had the same problem a while ago and finally figured out that when you change the compatibility view a few times at the top of the page, some new files show up. So when you open up the activision file it's supposed to show all of the files after clicking on compatibility view. If you click it again it decreases the number of files visible but the one that's causing problems shows up. Just toggle compatibility view a couple times and see if the problem file shows up.
  19. Under windows vista and windows 7 when you open up the activision file folder the compatibility view option should be visible on the menu bar at the top of the screen right next to view. Click it once and the hidden files will show.
  20. I already have a Bose surround sound system and a wall projector. I plan on doing "big" things with them.
  21. Yeah, what loader said. That was going to be my next suggestion.
  22. Funny how Obama changed his tune after becoming the most powerful man in the world. I doubt if he wants to give that up before he has to.
  23. And there you see the biggest problem Terry. We do need change in Washington. Obama was elected on that platform (Hope & Change). Democrats bought into it, Hell the world bought into it. They gave him a Nobel prize 2 weeks after he was elected because of his Hope & Change promises that were never kept. The Tea Party Republicans have some nut cases in their ranks but they stand to gain the most ground this November, and if enough of them are elected they will force changes in Washington against the entrenched establishment of both parties. The Democrats have been mocking them as a joke for a few years now. Wait until this little grass roots effort starts changing laws and blocking everything the Democrats put on the table. If our economy is going to improve and our deficit reduced, painful changes need to come to Washington and the entire country. I've never considered myself a Tea Partier but from what I can see they are the only ones that stand a chance of making any real changes in our government.
  24. So what happens when you go to multiplayer options and try to over-type the existing name that's in there? I find that it's easier to just type out the entire name with tags rather than just trying to add the tags at the end of your name.
  25. You may be right Hxtr, but we'll know more as we get closer to November. The only upside to Obama winning will be that his policies will create many more Republicans. By the time he finishes 4 more years the American public will be on the brink of complete revolt and Democrats will be out of favor with most Americans for years to come. He'll also be a lame duck president because it is expected that Republicans will control both houses after November and Obama won't be able to waste another penny on his liberal follies and union payolla. It would be nice if sombody (anybody) in our government would concentrate on reducing the deficit and repairing our economy instead of making it worse.
