Was watching some old concerts on AXs TV. First was a Led Zeppelin concert followed by AC/DC. I have always liked AC/DC. Especially the Bon Scott years. But after watching and hearing Led Zeppelin AC/DC didn't even come close. The power and feel of Pages Guitar just flat out blew Angus away. Was really surprising and could only be noticed when you watch the two that close together. A fun video to watch is " It Might Get Loud". It's a interview with Jimmy Page , The Edge from U2 and Jack White. It's interesting hearing them discuss playing the guitar and styles. At one point all three of them are standing in a circle playing a Zeppelin song. Jimmy is totally relaxed and the other two are working hard to keep up with him, and he is the old man of them.

Jimmy H was a innovator on the guitar. Love his music but he was also a bit sloppy. Sorry. But if you really listen to him and then hear some one like Stevie ray vaughn play his music you will hear a huge difference. One that is way under rated ( and I hate to even bring him in to this ) is John Mayer. He can play all styles of guitar. Not the best but highly highly regarded as being very good by other guitarists. Was shocked when I actually heard him play. He had different segments in the show that highlighted all the different styles. Actually worth seeing

One of my favorite guitarists. Probably more for unconventual style of guitar playing. On some of his music he plays rhythm and lead at the same time
