Will eventually get round to downloading and playing this latest DLC. Forgive my absence - have been so busy lately sorting out stuff after the family death.

For those lucky people living in more pleasant climes, here's a link to a graphic that shows just how much rain has fallen on the UK so far this year. Most of us have already seen over 100% average rainfall - the worst off over 35% above average. So, if we whine a little about the wetness, please forgive us. The local surgery here has a single flu shot clinic in October. I was on holiday hundreds of miles away. For a simple job of a nurse sticking you with a needle it seems one has to jump through blasted hoops just to get a 30-second appointment! May/may not bother... Hope you feel better soon.

Yes, DeeJay, that's right, we are fined if the snow is not cleared in an timely manner. Within 24 hours following a snow event, I believe is how the city ordinance reads. Also, they say the "public" owns the sidewalks, but the property owner adjacent to the sidewalk is responsible for its upkeep and maintenance. So basically, the public, who owns the sidewalk in the first place, gets to sue the property owner for any calamity the befalls them while walking down your piece of the sidewalk. Stupid. It has worked a different way over here with no legal duty to clear public paths outside ones property. If one does so out of a sense of public spiritedness, there have been suggestions that one could be sued if someone slipped and fell because the job was not good enough. We have to pay the water companies to dispose of the rainfall that falls in the street outside our homes... Now that is stupid!

Cloud is the default whenever anything interesting of an astronomical nature occurs here... Can't even convince the wife a telescope to observe the Moon is a good idea. She's convinced I'd point it at neighbours' bedroom windows...
