  1. Why's he going down there? Warrants out for him? He knows the place is full of snakes, spiders and Aussies, doesn't he?! It is mandatory to play cricket, utter the exclamation "Strewth!" frequently, refer to the ladies as "Sheilas" and drink copious quantities of fizzy stuff like (but not identical to) beer out of silly glasses called schooners that aren't even a pint! Oh, if the crocs don't bite lumps out of you, the sharks will and there's a tiny jellyfish that causes instant death! OK, it beats me why the Brits planted a flag there too!
  2. Thanks, Joe, for the updates and giving your personal support to our buddy, Chaos, at this distressing and painful time. Chaos, horrified to read the news and hear of your injuries - I wish you a short and complete recovery. As others say, make good use of that medication. Thinking of and praying for you, bro'!
  3. Nice photos. We have a local airshow here next month: http://youtu.be/zOhWrNoqyvo
  4. Accidental reveal of the next game in the series? http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/04/24/call-of-duty-ghosts-accidentally-outed
  5. You are known to my wife as my "virtual friends". She obviously believes that to qualify as an "actual" friend you have to live within visiting distance, physically come round for drinks, dinner, coffee or whatever. I disagree because, in the three years I have been a member of XI, I have laughed, cried, prayed and had more fun with you than with those few people I actually count as friends who live locally to me. My only sadness, due to the distance between us, is that I can't give you a real hug from time to time, especially those who are hurting or going through tough times. So, in lieu of feeling my big hairy arms round you, my big heart thumping against you through my keg and my beery breath saying, "Everything is going to be all right, be calm and don't worry", I am sending this special E-HUG out to you all with my love and my respect: ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUG)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Oh, I have a special word for Bogleg.... FU! This, brother, is for you... http://youtu.be/LJr6FknZhpM
  6. I’m confident just like me some of you will pass this very simple test TEST FOR ALCOHOLISM! I am not an alcoholic according to the test results. I have been concerned about a few of you so, when I saw this simple test, I thought I should forward it to you: Simple alcoholism test that you can take in the privacy of your computer... (Scroll down for your results) If you saw a sign for a "BAR".......you're an alcoholic!
  7. Hold tight - @@hxtr will be along to advise you shortly...
  8. Reminds me of a time when performers knew how to dress and folks knew how to dance... Welcome! http://youtu.be/7gSf_JDwooU
  9. Best one so far is a friend who is 67. He took the test twice and it said he was 10! LMAO until one considers that the A***holes who run this planet are educated there!
  10. Mmmmmm...beer! What else were you saying? Oh...hi!
  11. Thank you for the good wishes but our country was not "born" but evolved over millennia. "England" did not exist until around a thousand years ago. Before then, there were numerous kingdoms here and the Vikings, from Scandinavia, shaped the country and its language with their occupation of the "Danelaw". It was last invaded and conquered in 1066 by the Normans - Norse warriors living in Northern France. http://youtu.be/-GLRNnEmwdU
  12. To all proud Englishmen and women, it is nearly time to celebrate our national day! 23 April is Saint George's Day! Let's make an effort to enjoy and to celebrate our patron saint's feast day and do something English! Drink some English beer! Wear your favourite England football or rugby shirt! Rescue a damsel in distress! Most of all, do enjoy our unofficial national anthem that I present to you below; here are the lyrics if you would like to sing along (though true Englishmen will be unable to read them through the tears of pride by the second verse!). "And did those feet in ancient time. Walk upon England's mountains green: And was the holy Lamb of God, On England's pleasant pastures seen! And did the Countenance Divine, Shine forth upon our clouded hills? And was Jerusalem builded here, Among these dark Satanic Mills? Bring me my Bow of burning gold; Bring me my Arrows of desire: Bring me my Spear: O clouds unfold! Bring me my Chariot of fire! I will not cease from Mental Fight, Nor shall my Sword sleep in my hand: Till we have built Jerusalem, In England's green & pleasant Land" Jerusalem by William Blake, 1804. Note to those who have not been blessed to be English: England is one of the four countries comprising the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK). The name of the country is not interchangeable with "Great Britain" or "the UK". Due to historical differences of opinion, you risk causing great offence to citizens from UK countries outside England if you refer to them as "English". The appropriate way to describe someone from the UK, if you do not know with certainty that they are English, is as a "Briton". The flag of England is the Cross of Saint George (pictured above) and it is one of the constituent crosses in the Union Flag of the United Kingdom (the others being those of St Andrew and St Patrick). 13. I did! It knocked 23 years off me! http://kgajos.eecs.harvard.edu/ag/
  14. Because Her Majesty's birthday falls, this year, on a Sunday, the military salutes are delayed to Monday.
  15. 87 years old, on Sunday, 21 April. May God Bless and Preserve our much loved Sovereign Lady!
  16. I pray they were not hurt! One way to defeat these bastards is to turn an action of hate into an opportunity to love. Good to see how folks have rallied around and the community has come together e.g. spontaneous candle-lit vigil for the victims. Good will ALWAYS overcome evil!
  17. Please contact your local police if you recognise either of these individuals. http://www.fbi.gov/news/updates-on-investigation-into-multiple-explosions-in-boston/updates-on-investigation-into-multiple-explosions-in-boston
