  1. I agree, also get credit protection going so she can check in and see or be notified of any BS going on My wonderful State let my information get out because they were hacked, I got notification from them last month I have been obliged to maintain such financial and identity protection since Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs lost all my family's data including our bank account details. They paid me no compensation but I can guess what would happen if I didn't pay my income tax...
  2. What? No lifetime achievement award for HXTR in recognition of his staying alive after following one of your recipes?
  3. Happy Birthday, Steak!
  4. I'm sure you could take this delightful creature to the roughest hellholes of any UK city and she'd keep you safe...

  8. Dean, I could never guess what pearls of wisdom you were going to impart, though it was very unusual that it didn't include a graphic description of where you are going to stick that blade of yours! The city does now have some futuristic structures like The Gherkin and The Shard but, in my opinion, they would be more at home in Berlin or Dubai. I like the little historic gems that can still be found if one knows where to look. Check out The Blackfriar pub, for example here: http://www.nicholsonspubs.co.uk/theblackfriarblackfriarslondon/ Ye Olde Mitre is another one (est. 1546) and the land on which it stands used to be, technically, part of Cambridge: http://yeoldemitreholburn.co.uk/ There is still a "beadle" charged with keeping watch over the area: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ely_Place
  9. If you fancy a tour of London from your chair, click the link and drag the huge photo across your screen. You should spot some of the more recognisable buildings quite easily including the awful, new "Shard". Welcome to the city of my birth... http://btlondon2012.co.uk/pano.html
  10. The text message sent above is a good sign. Wishing you a speedy and complete recovery, Dread!
  11. Dean, you deserve the clap!
  12. HXTR your twice the whore DJ is. LOL I'll never catch you up, 'Beers! I know why the rotations change so often! Then you have to post that they have!
  13. I propose a ghost! Cheers!
  14. A few probably had Pete acting as peace-maker but I don't think I pissed him off too much... When the compromise on the PF was reached, I thought it a good time to bow out, as I really do think the be-all-and-end-all of these forums is to support the games activity and promote friendship. After all, we all know you lot over there are crazy! To reassure you, I have remained politically active over here, playing the game of pestering my MP with whom I never agree! I write him a letter asking him to do something, he does the opposite and then writes me a letter explaining why he has done so (but he never says I am a pain in the a*se!). I'm sure he realises my vote is going against him in 2015!
