The new Haswell Intel's are really hotheads, like we had at the Q6600 days when they first came out. The 4770k's are getting extreme hot and people are taking of the IHS from the CPU, to redo the coolerpaste. Other side of it, AMD just released information about their new CPU's and the TDP of that goes way over 200Watts. I am happy that I could buy a nice Intel CPU second handed and was in the range of good batches(week). It is sad, but yes I understand. See, to run a server like this, requires a lot of work to maintain it. It is not just hitting a button and update and done.
