its short bursts of high traffic, my modem/router has logs and i do believe its internal i did have an external ip from china DoS'ng me for a little but that did stop when i reset ip, ill send you a pm with the logs from the modem

so i can post most if not all info on here when requested, im having a problem finding a way to stop these dos attacks. i took my modem offline for about 24 hours to allow for the lease on external ip to expire, plugged her back in and was having the same issues almost immediately, i've had to up my data cap to 1.2tb to give me some leeway to figure this out, im about 17 days into this data cycle and without downloading anything ive gone through 596gb of that cap. obviously the tech support for my provider (wavecable) was little to no help, i had to remind them that ive had friends recieve warnings for downloading files and in the warnings the exact file name and location on there computers was listed, so i know when they tell me all they can see as far as data usage is the actual amount of data used, that is bs. Really didnt change anything because they told me to change out equipment and use a malware tool, i spent almost 300 on my modem when i got it last year its a netgear c6300 not one of their pos modems and im not buying a new one just because some dos attacks. Sooooo after that rant if you think you might be able to help please make any requests for logs or info here and i can pm or post later today when i get back from work thanks in advance to any and all that can help me track this and stop this first time ive ever had an issue like this in 15 years

honestly i dont think theres anything i've found quite like xfire, however AMD does offer there Evolved software that has a couple perks, there's messaging, prizes for game time played, in game overlay although it can be glitchy, and a game list

Best modem/router combo i've ever owned, never had to restart it atleast not in the last three months, and the wifi speed is like im on a wired connection. http://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/cable-modems-routers/C6300.aspx I use a netgear range extender so i can leave this modem/router combo at the computer and still have a 4 port switch somewhere else in the house.

if you download an app called slickdeals on your phone or go to slickdeals.net theres actually a lot of postings for bf4 for around 12-13, i think they had it plus premium for 25 a week or 2 ago

think he meant WaW, did you ever register the game in steam, or some other game management software? i recently ran into a similar issue with cod4 but i had registered it and linked it to steam and when i went to purchase it in steam it said i'd already purchased it i just needed to download it again. might not be a solution for you but wouldnt hurt to double check?

Sorry i couldn't give you guys a real heads up i was in a bad accident at the end of 2011 and was charged with vehicular homicide and i'm on the last 5 months of my sentence at work release, i wanted to let you and the admins know that i'm back in town but not fully able to be active in the clan as of yet, i will be allowed socials (10 hour day trips with family to their house) in the next 20 days probably not the first one but sometime in the next 2 months (schedule allowing) i would appreciate a chance at membership again. so i was talking to friends and apparently bf3 has all but died on xbox apparently the servers were horrible and they never put out an update for it on xbox 360, and they're saying that mw3 is better because they've already put out 3 updates within 6 days of it releasing, and in my head all i was thinking was ok... all that means is you console gamers apparently dont understand the game was just released and its gonna take some time to update and fix issues, and also... the fact that mw3 has already been updated 3 times just means A: either youre right and support for the game is better than bf3 or B: the game was less ready for market release than bf3 therefore they were in need of immediate updates either way i told them less QQ more pew pew lol

ya the other day i noticed our punkbuster seemed to finally be kicking in cuz we had 5-6 kicks thrughout one of the matches i was cheering on the other end of my computer screen lol

Ruggerxi Thank you for every ones responses. It looks like we leave the 64 slots the way it is for now and we add a 32 slot rush/conquest mixed server running hardcore. Turn off team kill. I will get this new server setup today I hope and then I will forward the info onto Mofo and Ukildme to setup. good decision in my opinion now all we can do is give it a week or two to see how it works out and adjust from there thanks for the hardwork amigos

confirmed 64 slot servers can use hardcore as well, i was playing on one today that was decent just shotty admins that were very spuratic with there kicks from server, and they werent inforcing the no tk rule at all

ukildme I would like to keep the current server...maybe drop it to 48 if anything and add a second 32 person mixed hardcore. Rush, conquest, TDM i agree i play ALOT and have being trying other servers and honestly the lag doesnt seem to stop a whole lot i even get it on 16 player servers sometimes more often than i get lag on 64, so i am with ukildme on that, i would love to keep our current 64 player server with all maps conquest and no operation metro since that map seems to cause a lot of issues in the lag area. And i second the idea for the 32 slot server on the side, that one we can do the hardcore rush,conquest, and tdm on because currently our server is amazing the way it is, when it has people in it, and i wouldnt want to screw something up that works.
