this is the best software I've used. My wife had XP, formated HD, Installed Vista, Hated it, Formatted and reinstalled XP. She forgot to backup our bussiness files but even after all that, I purchased and ran Ontrack Easy Recovery Pro. I was able to find and save all our files (luckily). Noears711>XI< I just got the game I am having a hard time finding our XI severs also the game will not let me start from X-fire only Steam when I see someone in X-fire in BO it will not let me in with them I have to do a search. Hit the Tilde Key and type /connect ip:port Sample to join XI Mixed Start Game Hit Tilde (~) Type /connect 173.199.99.251:3174 hit enter you should now be joing the server. Hope this helps

To get kills in BC2 find servers that are hardcore, the hitboxes are terrible in normal. the vietnam addon is suppose to be awesome.

Your games are linked to your account name. I changed my profile name and it didn't affect my rank in Black ops.

to add clan tag after you reach level 5 go to the multuplayer menu select Operations then Playercard

you can enter clan tags once you hit rank of 5.

I couldn't find the XI servers either. bounced around a few hours and the biggest issue is LAG LAG and More LAG. If someone knows where to add IP, well that would be great.

The services might not be running. to check hit the "windows key + R" to bring up the run window, type in "services.msc" and hit ok. the services should pop up. scroll down and find punkbuster a & b, both should be set to automatic and both should be started. on WAW you cannot play the same GUID at the same time or PB will kick one. you need 2 copies of the game to play at the same time

To Save and transfer "RANK" to a new install or Different Computer backup the folder with your profile name under the players folder...example: In WIN XP - C:/Programfiles/Activision/Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare/players/profiles/ In WIN 7 w/ UAC OFF - C:/Program(x86)/Activision/Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare/players/profiles/ IN WIN 7 w/ UAC ON - C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles Install the game to the new location (you must use the same key code) Create a profile with the same name as on the other PC Enter the game once, then close out of the game Copy the profile folder from your backup to the new install overwriting what is there. Copy and paste the MOD and MAP folders to transfer over them (they will download as you play also but does save time)

Do you have link about Public Server Files? I can't find anything but Gameservers only and no public server files. I have been looking forward to being able to run this on our dedicated server. Thanks...
