yeah thats an old cpu, the phenom II 955/965 would be a great buy at that price. I'd definetly go with Intel this round until the Bulldozer core comes out from AMD. I'm rockin' my triple core Athlon II 425 OC'ed to 3Ghz

I'd definetly go with a 256 bit card over a 128 bit card, the memory bandwidth can make a nice amount of difference in some applications. At this point, I'd go with a 5xxx series card or a GTX 460 for around 200 bucks, both being DX11 cards and not stepping backwards for a large amount up front.

awesome post. This brings back memories of when i first played Doom and Wolfenstein. I remember using a code in Wolfenstein to turn all enemies into Barney the Dinosaurs and they would all be singing the I love you song while getting shot in the head, it was great.

I've been playing this game on and off ever since it first came out, great game that still holds up well to this day. Does anyone still have it or play it? I am in the process of reinstalling all of my data at the moment and will reinstall if anyone wants to play.

yeah, myspace is full of junk and people are out to get you there because there is alot of user generated code. what anti-virus are you using? free ones.. I'd recommend Microsoft Security Essentials (small footprint, decent detection rate, auto updates, scheduling) and Avasts free one is good. For pay ones.. NOD32, Avast Professional, and Kaspersky.
