Back in the day, we'd occasionally get a player like Real Estafa where we didn't know if he was cheating, or if he was simply the greatest thing since sliced bread. Over time, it discouraged members who knew they couldn't win and when that player came in, everybody left. It created a lot of needless dissension.
And so, we'd ban them, not because they were cheating because we couldn't prove it, but because they were ruining the game for XI members. The thinking was that it's our servers and our members paying for them and we would not tolerate someone who was damaging the experience for our own. In effect, they were too good for us. And so with apologies, we locked them out.
For whatever reason, we don't do that anymore. But I think that should be reconsidered.
Our first responsibility should always be to our members and providing them with an enjoyable experience, and this guy's been the cause of discord in the clan for far too long. Why are we putting up with that? I don't think that just telling members to get better, to quit their bitching and suddenly become world class players so that they can compete with guys like Estafa, respects our membership.
We're a world-class clan for sure but if a guest on our servers - for whatever reason - is ruining game play for our own members, that situation should not be ignored. It should be dealt with.
