    It plays a very feeble sound that I only hear when there is absolutely no other sound playing on my PC. The chat works well, but I suppose it might work better with Overwolf.

    Look at it from this standpoint, as long as you can get in touch with clan members, in a reliable stable way, it's the way to go. The important thing to note is that I would rather not have to ALT+TAB or go out of the game to answer someone's admin related questions.

    It's called Raptr with native support for AMD gfx cards.

    Raptr is nice and snappy but doesn't have the option to create groups. Evolve offers the ability to create groups but I have not tested it thoroughly. Whichever software we use, I am strongly opinionated on its ability to provide an in-game overlay. Steam is Ok, but support for non-steam games is not that great so its hard to qualify it as a universal messaging app.
