    To give context, I mentioned that the in-game graphical menu provides the interface to adjust settings for getting the optimal FPS for smooth gaming. Therefore, there isn't really a need to use highly optimized configs for this game anymore. The newer graphics cards can handle up to 250 FPS @1080p without any need for extensive tweaking. Those who are new to our mod, and want to play competitively may find themselves looking to squeeze that slightest bit of an edge. While we don't discourage competitive gaming, using extensively tweaked game config files IMO is not the right thing to do.

    I suspected DDoS as the website was being affected in addition to the gaming servers. It appeared most traffic West of the service provider's location was affected.

    sshhhh you have enough hacks running already... TCP/IP windows optimization for less OS lag. Some settings you can disable in windows so the packet wastes less time sitting on your PC and more time travelling on the network. a few ms here and there add up.
