Goinbigger I finally got mine fixed by running registry mechanic. I had mic and headphones plugged in, reloaded game a couple times, renaming files, yada yada. Nothing worked. Finally came across someone that mentioned running that registry mechanic and I have only had it happen once since then. Ran the program again and it has been fine since. just make sure to come back and tell us when it does it again.ive been through this.must be the maps and mods

Nutcutter Well I was messing with my sound config, I got some new headphones and could not get the 3d sound to work. Sure enough crash and the sound loop you mentioned. Do you have it set to 5,7,or 9.1 surround? I set mine back to just stereo in game and in realtek and had no probs. stereo.nothing fancy.

were playing deathmatch...the point is to dominate and destroy by any means possible without a cheat thats why there is spawn protection.... spawn camping is permitted.say you play freeztag and last person and team keeps respawning in one room.of course your whole team surrounds it and pummels the spawn.we are playing deathmatch here people.Make the spawn protection longer if ya like or just run like hell like most of you have to anyhow........... spawncamping and killing is permitted as far as xi server rules go.we play here because there arent uptight admins laying down a list of rules making it unfun.whats next no shooting with out aiming up?
