hxtr Shamu - Firefox Issue? Has anyone had issues loading pages in Firefox of late? Sometimes moving from one site to another Bookmark is taking forever. I go straight to the bookmark from home page no problem, Problem is when I move around. I have done full scans for viruses or other stuff using Malwarebytes, Spyware Doctor and WIndows Defender. All looks good but I am still not moving site to site as it should. This is happening on 3 different PC's all using Firefox. Have not tried with Explorer or Chrome but I do have them available. I started using Chrome and I really like it.. Firefox has become more problematic as they keep updating it. Trying to change to much... so Chrome is my new browser. If I only had IE... i would stop surfing the web. I know this post is a couple of weeks old now but thought I'd throw my 2 cents in. +1 hxtr. I switched to Chrome as well as I found Firefox always updating, trying to move along too fast now, and things are getting missed I think with the speed they are trying to work on. Firefox 8 will be out soon as they are trying to rev up on a more regular basis. I have even been using Firefox 9 (aka Aurora) and it updates almost daily. So far, Chrome has been working pretty good, quick, and hasn't crashed on me yet and has the features I liked about Firefox.

A farmer buys several sheep, hoping to breed them for wool. After several weeks, he notices that none of the sheep are getting pregnant, and phones a vet for help. The vet tells him that he should try artificial insemination. The farmer doesn't have the slightest idea what this means but, not wanting to display his ignorance, only asks the vet how he will know when the sheep are pregnant. The vet tells him that they will stop standing around, and instead will lie down, and wallow in the grass, when they are pregnant. The man hangs up and gives it some thought. He comes to the conclusion that artificial insemination means he has to impregnate the sheep himself. So, he loads the sheep into his Land Rover, drives them out into the woods, has sex with them all, brings them back, then goes to bed. Next morning,he wakes and looks out at the sheep. Seeing that they are all still standing around, he deduces that the first try didn't take, and loads them in the Land Rover again. He drives them out to the woods, bangs each sheep twice for good measure, brings them back, and goes to bed exhausted. Next morning, he wakes to find the sheep still just standing around.. "Try again." he tells himself, and proceeds to load them up, and drive them out to the woods. He spends all day shagging the sheep, and upon returning home, falls knackered into bed. The next morning, he cannot even raise himself from the bed to look out of the window. He asks his wife to look, and tell him if the sheep are lying in the grass. "No,"she says, "They're all in the Land Rover, and one of them is beeping the horn

Well, 2 for 3 done. Leak fixed (for now, still gonna look at getting someone in to replace a bunch of older pipes) and job interview set up for Friday . Have you run, "Can You Run It?"? Can You Run It I don't have BF3 but according to this site, it says I can and I have only a GTS 450. It is not the 'publishers' recommended card but it still passes so I would say that your dual GTX 460 should be able to so I am guessing you have something else going on. Well, still on the search for a job. Met with recruiter yesterday so that went well so here is hope'n that turns into another interview. Anyway, just had to get the front struts replaces on my Venture, may have some transmission work coming up on my Rendezvous, and to top it off, wake up this morning to a puddle of water in my basement. Yup, looks like I will be fixing a water leak this morning to start my day. Hope everyone else's day starts off better.

Hope everyone had a good Halloween. Little bit of rain last night here made for a slow night with not too many kids coming by this year. Oh well, looks like my own kids will have lunch snacks for a while.

I watched part if once when my wife was flipping through the channels but that's about it. I don't watch a lot of TV to start with, there are a few good shows, but really, what's with all the reality TV shows. Just my preference, but gimme shows like Magnum PI and MASH.

When I first started playing COD WAW, my old machine met the minimum requirements but not the recommended. I was able to play but for sake of performance, I had to tone down some of the eye candy features. All in all, it still looked and played well. BF3 may be different in that area but you should be able to play but may have to turn down resolution. But do consider saving for a better card to get the most performance and visual experience out of the game.
