I installed the patch last night and I am only getting like 45 fps max at low settings , they screwed up the patch. I am still waiting for the game to be properly fixed before continuing to play

Knowing its EA thats controlling the servers this time I cant see it being cheap either

I have played the game and its currently locked at 30fps. You literally get a headache playing it after 10 minutes on those frames. I have had 1 or 2 crashes also. The devs have said the following shortly before release: We know how important having options that best suit your PC’s performance capabilities are. The team has been hard at work ensuring that Mafia III’s performance is consistent across all platforms, and right now the game runs at a solid 30 frames-per-second. We are currently working on an update for PC that will give players the option to play Mafia III at higher framerates Then within the last few minutes said: UPDATE [10/6 / 6PM PT]: We currently have a patch running here at the studio that includes 30, 60, and unlimited frames-per-second options in the video menu, among other improvements for the PC version of Mafia III. We’re verifying the patch now to ensure everything is working as expected. If everything goes well, we expect the update to go live this weekend. We will be keeping the PC community up-to-date on the status of the patch throughout the weekend and thank you for all the feedback! I am literally just going to wait for that new patch. Its hard enough trying to play the game at 30fps. In it's current state until the new patch it isn't worth purchasing for the time being

Fuck it I just bought it there , the game is 50gb and theres a pre load option with it, so I suppose its better to have to ready to play when its released at midnight. Anyway I cant wait for it, looks amazing!!

I might buy it today actually, its still quite a lot for a single player game but mafia games down the years have never disappointed I suppose

Yeah that's a good point. Like me and maverick went onto it last next and apparently there was 300 players online but when you went to the server browser there was about 60-80 people in game. The game is still excellent I think, its just a pity of the delay of new maps. The devs have put up a map contest with rewards and stuff for designing a new map for the game, with that and the 2 maps they are currently working on is disappointing. They should of at least have had 50% complete maps in development to work on even after the game release instead of creating new maps from scratch which is causing the delays of new maps being added into the game. The new 2 maps they are working on should be out this month by the looks of it and I will add them in as soon as they are out. The player population should pick up as such once the new maps are out. With that being said it will more than likely be same story after a while , people will come back playing the game once new content is added and when they get bored of it they will stop playing it. Regarding the custom server option, its just an idea. There is many free created maps currently available to use, some of them are quite impressive I must say. I will wait for the release of the new maps to see what the player numbers are like first.

I recently went to play the game today and there was barely any players online, its has been the same way 3/4 weeks after release. The devs have separated the server listings out to the following playlists: Official In Testing Custom There is only a handful of custom servers at the moment (our's is currently in official) but the custom server's seemed to be more popular (from what I have seen) . The game is still active as such and theres multiple maps and features on the way. Custom servers allow me to add custom maps and such to the game, it's just a suggestion Anyone that owns Day of Infamy and have any tips and suggestions its all welcome!

Thanks for the info! He has been banned across all the Insurgency servers now. Turned out he got 80 kills alone with his knife as seen in the video, first type of hack like that I have came across. If you ever need to report anyone in the servers and there is no admin on , I am normally in TS all day and always active if needed Oh yeah here is the link to check the gameMe stats on Insurgency : https://xtremeidiots.gameme.com/ . I bought it few months back on cdkeys.com for like 20 euro. It was 50% off on the humblebundle there recently also so there will be cheap keys going around. Its defintely worth the money, the game is very challenging as each car acts differently and the terains on some tracks can be hard to keep your car in control. Regarding Dirt 3 I havent played it in years and the last time I tried to play it, the microsoft live bullshit thing wouldnt work. It kept saying my login was incorrect even though it wasnt so I just gave up with it haha

On his steam profile on the right hand side it says he has multiple vac bans on record and his last vac ban was 9 days ago. If someone is playing suspiciously and has multiple vac bans I just ban them on the spot. Anyone with multiple vac bans are typically cheaters.

He is banned now thanks , yeah he was clearly wallhacking and got a vac ban only 9 days ago. If theres hackers you notice on the server and me and supa arent on best thing to do is kick them and if they come back again just kick them again, they more than likely wont come back. Forward the guys name onto me and I'll check him out.

Yes the language filter is in place to simply censor certain words. It runs off a text file which also covers multiple different languages but strangely enough when I want to remove a certain word from the list the plugin decides not to work. I will be looking for alternatives for that plugin soon. I am currently in the process of removing multiple plugins across the 2 servers that arent neccessary as such to make the servers run more efficiently. Regarding the admin menu I dont believe there is anyway to reposition it and yes when your dead you cant use the menu. I think thats down to Insurgency itself at the end of the day as it works on Day of infamy fine when your dead. So if someone is acting a prick on the server or is causing trouble and you cant use the admin menu as you are dead then the best thing would be to use the admin commands in console. Is it the the player connect annoucements saying what country they have connected from?

Nah I'm gonna buy Mafia 3 first , and give BF1 a month or two and see how the launch goes

Bascially few years back I used to have a program called SRS audio which would basically change your audio on your PC to high fidelity. The sound difference was insane! I then googled them today and it turned out they arent around anymore, DTS bought them and are using that technology in their own software and programs for insanely high prices. I seen around the web that people are using a program called DPS since SRS are gone and it was meant to be much better. So anyway I went and installed DPS. Straight after it finished installing it instantly came on and the audio was amazing. From toggling it off and on you can notice a huge audio difference from your regular sound card and DPS. That's strange now. It's set at 5 minute auto kick if your idle. I havent heard of that effecting anyone before. If it happens again let me know and I will look into it

For a quick and easy way that involves no effort then I would suggest you to install Vmware and install windows vista on it. Then install steam and fallout 3 and then your sorted
