Can someone explain to me are the games only for a certain day or what? I only seen a calender with supposedly games to giveaway. I am registered to Uplay and such but i despise it and don't even have it installed for months. I am just interested in the original splinter cell, does anyone know if that is still available?

I think the Ryzen is definitely going to be my next CPU , the performance and power consumption is unreal compared to Intel. I'm just waiting for prices and models first , it should be soon...

I didn't even know they had a closed beta , it shouldn't be too long till the open beta is out. From the gameplay there alone its looks promising

Have you tried clearing all cookies and cache on browsers? Also it may sound stupid but happens to my PC sometimes , check if the date and time on your PC is correct. Google webpages don't allow access to their site if your date and time is not correct.

Nice score! You got something like 130 kills yesterday as well on contact haha. The amount of new people that have played today is mad! I'd say it will even double over the weekend. Even when you die and you spectate some of the new players, its quite clear that they don't have a clue what they are doing With Insurgency being so cheap once again brings lots of more new players but also more hackers :/

2 weeks ago it was 50% off and was free to play for the weekend. I tried it out a few times but the multiplayer was a complete disaster. Since it was free for the weekend their was alot of new players were playing and didnt have a clue what they were doing. You would literally spawn in your deployment zone and there was 4/5 vehicles in spawn and about 30 team mates with you. Everyone was standing next to the vehicles not having a clue how to get into them and the closest objective was nearly 1km away. People ended up opening fire on all their team mates in spawn killing everyone then disconnecting. Turned out only squad leaders can open vehicles. I never seen anything like it before :lol: I joined another server on a different map and it was the same story. I had to run for 5/10 mins to get into a town were all the combat was. Thats when I had enough of the free weekend haha That was the free weekend like but you are always guaranteed people like that online during a free weekend not having a clue what they are doing and it didnt help the fact that it is a teamwork based game. If you get a group of friends to play the game with i'm sure it would be much better to play.

I have more internet technicians coming on friday to try fix my packet loss issues so hopefully I can finally start properly playing. The server options EA are offering at the moment are literally no good. They have to offer at least more options to some extend that 3rd party programs had for the PC. The current server rent program is something like the BF3/BF4 console rent program. Seems like one of those trends recently with new games coming out , the developers are tending to make the console and pc experience equal in nearly every way.

Seems there was a recent windows 10 update that allowed group policies for the pro edition. Windows 10 enterprise was the only version that could manage group policlies and I have tried it out myself. But what the title of this topic is " Take Back Full Control of Windows 10 Updates", I find wrong because microsoft will still update your windows. Recent Microsoft software terms and conditions now state that basically when there is a new update for one of their products that your PC must install windows updates. It happened to me on Windows 8.1 when I installed windows movie maker (Yes I know its a piece of shit) but next minute you know theres over 20+ windows updates installed even though I had them disabled. Later when reading through their T&C's it was in their writing saying you basically agree to downloading this microsoft program and if you do so you agree to microsofts windows updates. (Within those terms) With that said Windows 10 comes preinstalled with alot of windows 10 software such as skype so good luck with your windows updates

I have been having packet loss ever since game release, which has been so bad that I literally cant play without my ping randomly sky rocking or rubber banding. I had to manually configure the ports required for BF1 and the problems still occurred. I ran a trace route to the EA servers and it turned out there is a fault in my network regarding the packet loss. My ISP are sending out technicians on Friday to fix the problem as it is an underground line issue. For anyone experiencing packet loss or just bad latency at times check to see if these ports are open on your router: Ports for Battlefield 1 UDP - 3659, 14000-14016, 22990-23006, 25200-25300 TCP - 80, 443, 5222, 9988, 17502, 20000-20100, 22990, 42127
