Why is your 3700x ALOT slower than mine? I'm running at stock speed with the stock AMD Wraith Prism LED RGB Cooler which I plan on upgrading soon. What memory are you running? I'm using a much cheaper x470 motherboard with 16gb of ddr4 3600. 3600 is the sweet spot for 3rd gen Ryzen chips. Only reason I went with the X470 motherboard is because it does not have a chipset fan. All of the motherboards that I've had in the past with chipset fans had problems with the fan dying after a couple years no matter how clean I kept them. https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/5617728

@Angelz You do know that he was banned from competition for hacking in Painkiller don't ya? lol I played with him in his Quake 3 and CSS days and he definitely used modded configs for CSS. Last time I played with him was in a scrim VS a group out of Sweden. You don't remember the clan +DNC+ DeadlyNightCrew or the gaming Community [DC] Don'tCamp.com do you @Angelz? lol

Ya and most of those Pro Mod configs can only be run on a server that is not running PB. Because PB looks for modified files especially those that set the Texture Rendering limits and Level of Detail limits. I was a CAL/CPL "Pro" gamer for 5 years and I've played with and against some of the best gamers in the world at that time including 12 time world championship winner Johnathan "Fatality" Wendel. I know the extent of what is capable as far as modding configs lol. I don't use modded configs and shit. That junk is for noobs that have no talent.

BBQ pulled groundhog on home made bead. It's just as tender and yummy as pulled pork. They can be a bit gamey tasting unless you get a young one that's why I like to smother it in BBQ sauce.

Try reseating the CPU and reapply thermal compound. Look closely at the motherboard socket and CPU for bent pins or darker colored burnt pads. If that doesn't help and everything looks OK? check and see if there is a newer Bios available for the motherboard.If still a no go? Just remove 2 sticks. You do not need any more than 16gig for anything unless you are rendering high quality video or something.Truthfully you can run 8gb and play any game out there just fine. I ran 2 x 4gb sticks for 8 years and upgraded to 16gb and it made absolutely no difference.
